Episode 1

On her way to the airport, KWAI-CHI cannot make up her mind as to whether to continue her studies in the UK and feels very upset. SO MEI then reveals her own thoughts to KWAI-CHI, who finally decides not to return to the UK. However, after KWAI-CHI tells SZ-NGA about her decision, SZ-NGA reprimands KWAI-CHI, urging her to return to the UK immediately. Later on, SZ-NGA goes to find SO MEI in the cafe and makes a fuss about it, resulting in a falling-out between the two. In fact, SZ-NGA bears the mind-set that it's SO MEI who interfered between her and BEAN CHAK, and caused the breakdown of their marriage, so she has always been hostile to SO MEI. SO MEI's mother KA-YEE, a renowned villain hitter in Hong Kong, has been having a long-running feud with SO MEI ever since her daughter got married with BEAN CHAK. Worrying about her mother, SO MEI goes to the foot of the bridge and secretly watches her mother work……

CHI-TAI conceals the fact that he lost his job from his son CHO-KWONG. SO SICK then takes CHI-TAI to take on the renovation job in a cafe so that he can make some money. Having learned that the cafe is recruiting a barista, CHI-TAI attempts to apply for the job but to no avail, because the owners of the cafe turn out to be KWAI-CHI and SO MEI. SYU-YAN sees that KWAI-CHI is very upset for being engaged in a feud with SZ-NGA. As such, she suggests finding out a solution for her through coffee reading. All of a sudden, KWAI-CHI wins a flight ticket to the UK in a lucky draw. In this regard, she believes she is destined to go back there, continuing her studies in the medical school. Running into CHO-KWONG in the cafe, KWAI-CHI gives him an extra movie ticket without knowing that he is actually CHI-TAI's son……

SO SICK secretly arranges KA-CHING to deliver the soup to SO MEI, but SO MEI returns without warning and unmasks the truth through the smell of the soup. She even claims that she will not forgive KA-CHING until the day when KA-YEE forgives her. On the opening day, SO MEI notices that the coffee roaster and waiters do not report for duty, so she calls them to find out what is going on. At that time, she learns that her rival coffee shop has managed to poach them by offering them a higher salary. After having racked her mind to find out the solution, SO MEI has no alternative but to let CHI-TAI and SO SICK help her, and later, KA-CHING offers his help too. Due to SZ-NGA's careless mistakes, Sister LOLITA is injured after falling down. SZ-NGA then gives Sister LOLITA a ride as an apology. However, Sister LOLITA's destination turns out to be SO MEI's cafe……

KIN-SHEK and CHI-TAI suffer from food poisoning and stay in the hospital, during which KWAI-CHI asks SO SICK about CHI-TAI and CHO-KWONG's past. It turns out that FAN FATT was also eavesdropping on their conversation. With the cafe encountering financial difficulties, KWAI-CHI and SO MEI intend to borrow money from a finance company, which is discovered by SZ-NGA. As such, SZ-NGA decides to invest in their cafe. CHO-KWONG tells CHI-TAI that he likes the coffee brewed by KWAI-CHI. In order to win his son's respect back, CHI-TAI is determined to find a chance to learn her secret techniques. While imposing her condition to SO MEI, SZ-NGA requests SO MEI to adopt the plan which is to share the cafe property with another sub-tenant to run a food store if the cafe cannot make profit within a certain time period. KA-CHING's girlfriend FEI-FEI finally returns to Hong Kong……

KA-CHING, bringing along his home-made cake, goes to seek advice from KA-YEE, whereas KA-YEE cannot help worrying about SO MEI in private after learning about the issue of the cafe. Renowned coffee roaster LOK-MAN, who lured away all the waiters of SO MEI's cafe on the opening day, suddenly appears, and runs into FAN FATT, with whom he fights a duel in coffee-making. SO MEI sees that KA-YEE collaborates with other Hong Kong Villain Hitters to curse someone on TV, and to her surprise, their target turns out to be ...... While CHI-TAI is worrying about his son who has never taken a plane before, he learns that KWAI-CHI is going to participate in the Latte Art Competition, and either the champion or the first runner-up may get a pair of tickets. Raising the issue to SO MEI, CHI-TAI proposes taking part in the competition as well, however SO MEI warns him that he is not allowed to use any equipment in the cafe for practice……

CHI-TAI senses that KWAI-CHI still has doubts as to why he would want to participate in the competition and how sincere he is while making coffee. So he takes her to travel around on outlying islands, during which KWAI-CHI finally comes to realise the truth beneath. Unexpectedly, the two have an accident while sailing at sea...... SZ-NGA tells SYU-YAN to stay at home and wait for the workers to do the renovation job without knowing that the person in charge is in fact SO SICK. Taking this advantage, SO SICK conducts an investigation there, and as a result, he learns SZ-NGA's secret. Later on, SO SICK and other renovation workers go to an erotic club to have fun, where he leaves the others and stays alone with a prostitute FUNG. Due to the accident, CHI-TAI and KWAI-CHI become well-known in town. Seizing the opportunity, SO MEI uses their fame to promote her cafe……

Having learned that KWAI-CHI and CHI-TAI have become the rumored couple in town, which even helps promote the cafe business, SZ-NGA flies into a rage. When she argues with SO MEI, KWAI-CHI informs SZ-NGA that she has decided to suspend her studies. SO SICK learns that one of his friends is dismissed by SZ-NGA, so he asks her out, belabouring her for that. Apart from seeing that CHI-TAI has become very hard-working, SO MEI and the others also notice that CHI-TAI can still improve in terms of developing more sensitive taste-buds. In view of this, KWAI-CHI makes up her mind, trying to force CHI-TAI to change his dietary habits. FEI-FEI spots a type of cake named, "Very Popular", in KA-CHING's notebook, and likes it very much, but KA-CHING instead does not want to make the cake. The cake turns out to represent the memories between KA-CHING and SO MEI when they were groupies and worshiping stars during their school days……

Having overheard what FAN FATT said, CHI-TAI is so frightened that he experiences a recurrence of asthma. In order to save CHI-TAI, KWAI-CHI and the other two decide to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. CHI-TAI is then hospitalised. Surprisingly, he is able to distinguish coffee aroma after awaking from his unconsciousness. On the heels of being discharged from hospital, CHI-TAI together with KWAI-CHI and the others rush to the competition venue, but FAN FATT suffers severe injuries when protecting the materials. KWAI-CHI leaves CHI-TAI the only complete cup, hoping to help him. Coincidentally, CHO-KWONG runs into his mother in a convenience store, and he even takes her to the venue to watch CHI-TAI's competition. Upon the end of the competition, CHI-TAI and the others go to visit FAN FATT in the hospital, where they eventually hear the truth from him……

KA-YEE spots SO SICK buying a bed together with FUNG, and is very happy as she thinks that SO SICK already has a girlfriend. Some journalists want to interview CHI-TAI, however, due to KIN-SHEK's mistake on his working schedule, he fails to inform CHI-TAI to report for duty in advance. Noticing that SO MEI is in a very bad mood, KA-CHING pretends to trick her in an attempt to help her relax, instead, he gets scolded by SO MEI. CHI-TAI goes to church to have a word with Sister LOLITA. But he suffers a huge blow after learning what happened to him when he was in coma. KWAI-CHI notices that CHI-TAI seems a bit absent-minded while he was interviewed, so she decides to reveal the truth to CHI-TAI. Coincidentally, SO MEI and KA-CHING both join the activity to pay tribute to their late favorite idol, during which the two mend fences with each other……

Seeing that CHI-TAI was quibbling about what he had done, KWAI-CHI is so angry that she returns home alone. CHI-TAI catches up to her and gives her a shiny toy, claiming it will help her to make a choice. SO SICK and FUNG are going to get married after revealing their love affection to each other. Although CHI-TAI and KA-CHING support their decision, SO MEI points out that they should not conceal FUNG's job from KA-YEE. Having recovered from his injuries, LOK-MAN appears, requesting M&M to take part in a coffee competition, because he wants to beat FAN FATT himself. CHI-TAI, who was not taken seriously by LOK-MAN, is not satisfied with this. He then proposes taking part in the competition also, but is rejected by SZ-NGA. During SO MEI's absence in the cafe, SZ-NGA uncovers so many problems with regard to the business management, so she decides to reform the business……

Ever since SZ-NGA starts the reform, the cafe business has become better, but meanwhile, it has also gradually abandoned its original principle that they set when they started the business. Trying to fit herself into the shop which has less space than before, FEI-FEI now keeps drinking coffee with a sour taste. SZ-NGA calls in all the employees of the cafe to lecture them, who feel aggrieved and insulted. After knowing that KWAI-CHI did not endeavor to ask for the competition opportunity for him, CHI-TAI complains to KWAI-CHI, who storms out in a huff. CHI-TAI is then injured by hot water and suffers from burns. While the two are waiting for the car together, KWAI-CHI finally reveals her feeling towards CHI-TAI. SO MEI is very confident to sell her new mobile phone game to her boss, but receives severe criticism, which makes SO MEI feel so depressed……

SYU-YAN and KWAI-CHI go skating together, during which SYU-YAN mentions that SZ-NGA didn't buy her a telescope. Later on at the skating rink, the sisters find out that SZ-NGA is trying so hard to learn how to skate. That makes SYU-YAN come to realise what SZ-NGA had done was purely out of her jealousy to SO MEI. SO MEI adds the story about KA-CHING pursuing her into her new game, and eventually manages to convince her boss to accept her design. However when SO MEI invites SO SICK out to try out the game, SO SICK is dissatisfied that SO MEI has made public KA-CHING's story. CHI-TAI finally reveals to two of his best friends that KWAI-CHI has a crush on him, and unexpectedly, CHO-KWONG seems very supportive to his father after learning the whole thing……

The break in relations between KA-CHING and SO MEI leads to a radical change of KA-CHING's personality, and KA-CHING even claims that he will not help the others from then on. In order to look after his son CHO-KWONG, CHI-TAI insists on going swimming at beach with CHO-KWONG regardless of his previous burn injuries. Having learned this, KWAI-CHI hurries to the beach to attend to CHI-TAI's injuries. Seizing this opportunity, CHI-TAI reveals his love affection to KWAI-CHI, but KWAI-CHI is so frightened that she turns him down. SZ-NGA feels very annoyed after she learns that KWAI-CHI has fallen in love with CHI-TAI. In the end, she agrees to let CHI-TAI participate in the coffee competition. KA-CHING fails to show up in the cake shop, whereas SZ-NGA decides to increase cake orders after noticing that the cakes there are the most popular snack among their customers. As a result, FEI-FEI passed out due to being overwork……

Some people wreak havoc in the cafe, so the cafe needs a renovation all over again. In this regard, SZ-NGA also considers whether she should give up her share of the cafe. As KWAI-CHI is about to stop her from doing so, KA-CHING instead proposes closing up his cake shop. While KA-YEE is cursing someone by “hitting villain” at the foot of the bridge, FUNG’s rival ENG shows up and asks KA-YEE to curse someone for her, through which KA-YEE learns about FUNG’s secret. KA-YEE runs into Sister LOLITA when using the washroom in the Church. Sister LOLITA introduces SZ-NGA, who also comes to have a word with her, to KA-YEE. As such the two have a thorough conversation with each other. Upon her return to Hong Kong , SO MEI meets up with SZ-NGA, requesting her to withdraw from the cafe business partnership. Eventually, FAN FATT knows the culprit who created havoc in the cafe, and plans to deal with it himself……

Worrying that KIN-SHEK might do something stupid, CHI-TAI and KWAI-CHI go to file a police report at the police station, where they run into SZ-NGA. KWAI-CHI attempts to apologize to SZ-NGA for having deceived her, but SZ-NGA is still very angry, blaming that KWAI-CHI will ruin her own future if she continues to see CHI-TAI. SZ-NGA still cannot forgive SYU-YAN and KWAI-CHI, so she temporarily stays in her subordinate co-worker's home. Unexpectedly, she bumps into KA-YEE, who is performing the ritual for those just moved into a new house. Although SO MEI and SO SICK learn that KA-YEE is planning to return to her hometown, they have no idea what is exactly on her mind. SZ-NGA cannot bear to see this, so she decides to intervene. FUNG decides to return to her hometown after learning that KA-YEE has already known her real identity……

Ever since FUNG left him, SO SICK has stayed at home all day long, drowning his sorrows in drinks. SZ-NGA, who cannot bear to see him continue like this, intends to lecture him, instead gets scolded by SO SICK as he thinks it's none of her business. As the competition is around the corner, KWAI-CHI and FAN FATT intensify CHI-TAI's training. Out of the blue, FAN FATT receives a phone call from TSAU-PO, so he and CHI-TAI go together to meet her. They learn that she was under the gangsters coercion to play a role in a porn movie, as a result CHI-TAI also unmasks FAN FATT's real identity. With the school that SO MEI and KA-CHING went to scheduled to be torn down, KA-CHING finds a desk that brings out his and SO MEI's past memories. As he is trying to remove the desk from the school, he hears something about SO MEI's past……

KA-CHING goes to have a word with SO SICK, during which SO MEI, while hiding herself, overhears the information that FEI-FEI has proposed marriage to KA-CHING. Finally FAN FATT and CHI-TAI locate the whereabouts of KIN-SHEK, who has disappeared for a while. Moreover, the two even notice that SZ-NGA has also been leaving messages, worrying about KIN-SHEK's recent situation. With FAN FATT accompanying TSAU-PO and CHO-KWONG to go to see a movie, TSAU-PO purposely bursts into tears and complains to CHO-KWONG in front of FAN FATT, hoping that FAN FATT would offer to help her. Not wanting to drag the cafe down, FAN FATT decides to resign his position as the roaster. KWAI-CHI reveals everything about CHO-KWONG to SO MEI. Having heard this, SZ-NGA, who was standing outside, feels that she has adopted the wrong method to raise her daughters……

CHI-TAI discloses his relationship with TSAU-PO in public, making her so angry and pass out on-site. The two then have a quarrel with each other at the medical room, and their conversation is overheard by CHO-KWONG. When KA-CHING is taking the minibus, SO SICK calls him, telling him that SO MEI has nowhere to stay now. KA-CHING invites SO MEI to rent his apartment to stay there, which is misconceived by SO MEI instead. After they get off the minibus, they notice that they have left CHO-KWONG there, so they call CHI-TAI right away. Learning that CHO-KWONG has disappeared, CHI-TAI decides to quit his competition and goes to search for CHO-KWONG. Eventually, KWAI-CHI finds where CHO-KWONG is, above which she even braves out to rescue him when he is being chased after by a bunch of bees. KA-CHING takes SO SICK back to his school to help in the renovation work……

CHI-TAI attempts to bring along the blossom coffee tree to visit KWAI-CHI in the hospital as well as to apologize, but to no avail, rendering his fighting spirit shattered. KA-CHING attends the graduation ceremony at school, where he learns the video game that used him as the leading character has surged in popularity recently. Also, he is inspired when the Sister there talks about the things with regard to the principal male role in the video game. When the ceremony starts, the school teachers and students present an award to KA-CHING. But KA-CHING not only refuses to accept the award, but also keeps blaming himself. All of a sudden, FEI-FEI appears, enumerating KA-CHING's flaws and shortcomings. On top of that, she even announces that she will not marry him. After breaking up with FEI-FEI, KA-CHING intends to hurry to the airport, stopping SO MEI from leaving Hong Kong……
