Season 1 · Episode 1
Eric Malone and his grudge racing team upgrade another team's slowest car, a 1979 Malibu rust bucket with a broken frame.
Eric Malone and team 256 step up to back Malcolm Storey against the 442 team. Brant Arnold accepts a grudge match involving a rusty Vega. The team drops everything when Kenny Ford, the Godfather of Drag racing, brings his daughter's Camaro to the garage.
Eric Malone has a grudge to pick with Jeff Hunt and his team in Mississippi: he thinks he can make their slowest car "The First 48" outrun Jeff Hunt's fastest car, "Homicide". Malcolm Storey's new car, "Riley", starts becoming a headache for the 256 team
Tension is high while the 256 team scrambles to come up with a plan for James Rowlette's Vega. Meanwhile, the race between the 442 and Riley, Malcolm Storey's Grand Prix is approaching. Will Eric and Brant's efforts be enough to beat 442 for the $10,000?
The 256 team is challenged with whipping Kenny Ford's old Dodge Dart into shape in time for Radial Fest, Alabama's biggest street car race. They tangle with the Big Slick team and their champion Mopar and end up with an even bigger problem on their hands.
Why stop with one Malibu when you can have two? Last racing season, 256 took Malcolm Storey's Malibu and made the Black Mamba. Eric and Brant came across another Malibu they can build into a twin G-body, and want to see which of the two is faster.
Eric has been called to rescue an 06' Mustang that was top of the line in its heyday, but has been sitting in a garage for a decade since. Brant wants help with his new Camaro, but the use of resources with the Vega race approaching has priorities split.
While the 256 team works effortlessly to build a vega from stock Brant has taken his new camaro to his own shop. With a big race coming up involving the whole team, will Eric and Brant find a way to make amends and bring the team back together?
The freshly painted Vega is finally ready for testing, but they need to get it down the track in under five seconds in order to beat James Rowlette and his Boost of Burden Mustang. The teams have agreed to go head to head to see who takes the new Vega.

In the first episode of Project Binky, we take a rotten old Austin Mini and strip it down to a bare shell. We then take an angle grinder to it and cut it to pieces. It's only then that the customised rebuilding process starts. We're trying to create one of the fastest Minis on the planet. We're going to rebuild it with the engine and running gear from a Toyota Celica ST185 GT4. Or at least that's the plan. Whether it comes off or not is another matter. We're filming this as it happens so what you see is only a few weeks behind where we're actually at so we're not sure yet whether we can do it. That's kind of the fun though. Stick with us through the highs and the lows of the project. Hopefully it'll be worth the agony and cash. Feel free to share it far and wide!
