Having gone their separate ways since the series "Beverly Hills, 90210" ended 19 years ago, the cast members reunite at a 30th anniversary fan convention in Las Vegas, causing old flames, feuds and feelings to reignite.
When FOX greenlights a reboot, Tori and Jennie confront each of their former castmates and are met with more resistance than they had anticipated. The gang deals with the repercussions of their actions in Las Vegas.
Tori starts to feel the pressure of balancing the cast's requirements. Jason and Ian both struggle with their marriage issues. Jennie meets her new bodyguard. Brian hires a new assistant. Gabby asks Christine for advice.
When the table read serves up major disappointment, the cast bands together to try to rewrite the script, but can't come to an agreement on storylines; Shannen questions her decision to join the reboot.
The first day of filming is halted due to a threat; the cast sets their eyes on a former co-star who may be holding a vendetta against them; Jason's insensitivity while directing causes frustration; Tori stresses over an upcoming sex scene.

Lupino was nominated for an Emmy Award for "Best Actress in a Continuing Role" for both seasons of Mr. Adams and Eve.

Down and Out in Beverly Hills is a 30 minute TV series based on the 1986 movie of the same name. It aired from July 25, 1987 to September 12, 1987 on on the fledging Fox network. It has the distinction of being the first ever show to be cancelled by Fox; only 13 episodes were produced. The cast included Hector Elizondo as Dave Whiteman, Anita Morris as Barbara Whiteman, Eileen Seeley as Jenny Whiteman, April Ortiz as Carmen the Maid, and Tim Thomerson as Jerry Baskin. Evan Richards was the only cast member of the film to reprise his role for TV.

The show is produced by E!, but is broadcast on several other basic cable network channels, such as the Style Network. Each episode is approximately one hour long. The show stands out from other programs of this sort in that it also examines the lives of the doctors featured in its lineup.
