The Rahmans are preoccupied with the constantly-changing wedding plans of younger daughter Norleena; the Tongs’ youngest teenage son plays a trick on Shruti, the younger daughter of Bhaskars; and the Lims’ father and daughter pair, Kwong San and Xue Ling, cross swords in their power struggle for control of their family-run business. Tongs’ matriarch Li Yan, who runs the Tanglin Coffee House, comes across a mysterious stranger Jay. She offers him a job at Tanglin Coffee but her suspicious daughter Diana is not agreeable to the idea. Shruti tries to befriend the gang of popular girls but steps on the toes of the Queen Bee Pam Poh . Xue Ling hatches a plan to trick her mother Bee Li into signing the lease to the new office. And Norleena is driving everyone at home nuts with her indecisiveness and high expectations in her quest for the perfect wedding.

Diana sends Madam Lee, a family friend, to hospital on an emergency case and runs into the most obnoxious and arrogant doctor (or so she thinks) she has ever met – Arjun Bhaskar. More clashes in the works as Xue Ling and Wafiq, acting as CEO on Kwong San’s absence, are at loggerheads over her proposed plans to rebrand KS Foods. And to ease the financial burden of the family, Salmah decides to looks for a job after much consideration, and applies for a Clinic Assistant job at Dr Bhaskar’s clinic.

Meera organizes a small dinner gathering with Arjun's boss Dr Krishna and family with a couple of agendas in mind – to get Arjun into Dr Krishna's good books and match-make him with Dr Krishna's daughter Anandhi (Ann), but Meera got more than what she bargained for when Bhaskar meets his old flame Li Yan, who is catering for the dinner party, after 30 years. Meantime, Shruti's quest to get close to Pam backfires when she outshines, unintentionally, Pam in a shoot for the Tanglin JC Recruitment video. The duo of Michael and Eddie are on a secret mission – to sell beers at the chalet outing. But first, they must find a place to stash the contraband without alerting any of the adult

At work, the clash between Xue Ling and Wafiq escalates when Xue Ling takes matters in her own hands and conducts a market survey with Wafiq's knowledge and approval. At home, Melissa (Valere Ng) stumbled upon the beers in Michael's room and informs Adam (Adam Chen) of her discovery. At school, Shruti gets the ultimate sabotage when Pam and gang steal her uniform/clothes from the locker room while she was showering after a PE lesson. Bhaskar, still reeling from his encounter with Li Yan, discovers that Li Yan was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and has been in remission for a year already.

Meera pressures Arjun to go on a date with Anandhi but Anandhi mistakes Diana to be Arjun's girlfriend after witnessing Diana and Arjun having a tiff at the hospital. Arjun thinks he has got everything under control after Anandhi backs off, but finds himself having to hatch a plan after Meera wants to meet this new girlfriend Diana. Xue Ling and Adam gets into a major argument over ways of disciplining Michael after the beer-stashing incident, with Bee Li adding oil to fire by suggesting that Adam is not doing a good job as a father. More wedding woes for Norleena as Salmah cannot agree with her ‘modern' idea of door gifts for guests, as well as her planned pre-wedding shoo

Salmah finally relents and allows Norleena to proceed with her pre-wedding shoot but on one condition – Salmah is to tag along, much to Norleena's horror. Arjun, under Meera's constant pressure and insistence that she wants to meet his new girlfriend, has to choice but pays Diana to pretend to be that mock-up girlfriend. Cool heads prevail as Xue Ling manages to convince Wafiq to change KS Foods' design and packaging. More feel-good moments for Xue Ling as Adam and her kiss and make up for the big fight the previous day.

Arjun sets conditions for Diana with regards to the 'date' meeting with Meera and Bhaskar; what to wear, what to do etc, resulting in Jay thinking that this deal between them in more than just an innocent 'girlfriend-for-hire' service, but the meeting proved to be a disaster as Meera finds out that Diana is a bogus girlfriend and Arjun tells Meera off for meddling in his life. Salmah, who thinks that she is qualified enough for the Clinic Assistant job, gets angry when she finds out that Dr Bhaskar did not call her for an interview. Shruti develops a huge crush on Ben, and her dream comes true when Ben offers to teach her to bake cupcakes, while Michael starts hanging out with a shady guy and comes home with bruises and cuts on his arms and body.

The saga between Shruti and Pam continues as Pam up the ante by putting a pack of cigarettes in Shruti's school bag and reporting her to the Discipline Mistress. Salmah goes for her interview with Dr Bhaskar, and in her bid to secure the job, gives Dr Bhaskar some white lies about her previous experience in the medical/nursing profession. Norleena and Sulaiman (Fauzie Laily) have an argument over the cost of the wedding venue while Michael continues sneaking out of the house for his secret rendezvous

It’s Salmah’s first day and work, and besides having to deal with an information overload from the long list of medication, the gossip in her has to contend with a much bigger challenge – patient confidentiality. More issues for the Rahmans as the wedding plans for Norleena takes a turn for the worst when Sulaiman calls of the wedding after an explosive exchange between Norleena and him over the dulang hantaram, the traditional gift exchange between husband and wife. Shruti, in contrast, is a picture of bliss, happiness and contentment of a girl in love when she thinks that Ben actually likes her while Meera is in distress – it’s been 2 days already and Arjun is still not speaking to her. Michael’s secret is blown when Eddie finds out about his secret rendezvous and hobby – breakdancing.

Li Yan discovers a lump in her breast at her old cancer site. Shocked and with no one to turn to, Li Yan finds emotional and practical support in Bhaskar. While Salmah struggles to keep up with the work in the clinic, Nadiah struggles to resolve the sister's wedding woes by seeking Sulaiman out to mediate the situation. Happiness abounds for Shruti and Meera with Shruti sharing her infatuation with Ben online and Meera succeeding in getting Arjun to move back home.

While Bhaskar spends the whole day with Li Yan at the hospital, Salmah struggles to manage the clinic. Distracted by Li Yan's medical condition and Norleena's wedding woes, Salmah gives the wrong medication to a patient unwittingly, resulting in a medical emergency. Back home, Norleena and Sulaiman receive counsel from Sulaiman's foster parents. Angered by Jay's assumption of her being an escort, Diana plays along in order to teach him a lesson.

Upon retracing her steps, Salmah discovers her mistake and confesses to Bhaskar. In a fit of rage, Bhaskar fires her when she lets slip that she had lied in her CV, but later retracts her termination after Li Yan mitigates on her behalf. Meanwhile after learning that Norleena and Sulaiman have no wedding venue, Li Yan offers TCH to them. Diana's prank on Jay backfires when her client cancels a huge contract after being reprimanded by Jay. Trouble brews for Michael when Eddie threatens to expose his breakdancing secret.

Bhaskar offers to deliver Li Yan's medical results to her after Li Yan shares her anxiety. While relaying Li Yan's medical results, Bhaskar makes a misjudged gesture that suggests his romantic feelings for her, resulting in Li Yan backing off. Meanwhile, Michael confronts Eddie for betraying his trust after a video of him breakdancing leaked online. Fun time for Jay and Diana after they clear up their misunderstanding and engage in game of saying sorry.

After his faux pas with Li Yan, a troubled Bhaskar tries to apologize and make amends but winning back Li Yan's trust will soon prove to be an uphill battle for him. His actions also give rise to Meera's suspicions about him - will Meera find out something that she is not prepared to know? Meantime, Shruti's crush on Ben continues to deepen and to have him all to herself, she invites him to her house under the guise of a food delivery. Adam is offered a job to be a martial arts instructor at a gym. However he questions if it is the right job for him.

Bee Li finds the job application forms that Adam disposed and questions him about it. When she gets no satisfying response, she rallies in Xue Ling's help to coax Adam into taking up the offer. On the other hand, the indecisive Suzanne (Gayle Nerva), unable to find a job she likes, tries out working in TCH but her carefree and sloppy attitude gets a rude awakening from Zul (Rahman Rahim). Also Shruti is tricked by Eddie into thinking that there will be an Ethnic Costume Contest at TCH which she takes very seriously, while Nadiah is once again pressured by Salmah to get married and settle down.

In an effort to mend the rocky relationship between Wafiq and him, Adam offers to look after Kalila (Aleeyah Nabilah) but things do not go as planned when Kalila gorges on sweet kueh and has a sugar high. Meanwhile, Shruti feels embarrassed after being tricked by Eddie but she has bigger fish to fry when she sees Suzanne being close with Ben and decides to teach her a lesson. Another comment from Salmah about marriage sends Nadiah over the edge, leading into a heated fight between the sisters where things quickly become ugly. Ben is thrown into a predicament when he finally learns about Shruti's feelings for him and struggles to find a way to let her down gently.

A tipsy, maturely-dressed Shruti tries to impress Ben but ends up embarrassing herself. Ben tells her they maybe they should not hang out anymore. Arjun returns home to find Shruti drunk, and demands to know what is going on. At Salmah's dinner party, Meera feels her age when she sees how stunning Rachelle is. Bhaskar and Li Yan have a heart to heart talk and Bhaskar makes a few confessions. Meanwhile, Salmah tries to get her daughters to make peace, without success. Diana and Arjun have another encounter, in which their opinions of each other's arrogance is reinforced.

To find out what’s troubling moody Shruti, Arjun and Diana probe into Shruti’s blog and find out that Shruti was out with a B. When Arjun sees a photo of Ben on Shruti’s phone, he confronts Ben. Shruti is humiliated in front of Pam and the gang. Meanwhile, Salmah reminds Norleena that she has yet to buy a langkah bendul gift for Nadiah, as a goodwill gesture out of respect for the elder. As Nadiah dismisses this tradition, Norleena misunderstands and the sisters get into a fight again. Bhasker is unusually attentive to Meera, which makes her suspicious, and leads to her feeling insecure about her looks and worries that her family doesn’t need her anymore

Diana runs into Arjun. Somehow, the awkward conversation leads to a date at Arjun's medical ball. Just as they are about to leave for the ball, Arjun is paged by the hospital. He needs to check in on a patient first. Unfortunately, the patient dies. Diana sees Arjun's vulnerable side and encourages him to talk, and they go on an official date. Meanwhile Norleena tries to mend ties and asks Nadiah to join her henna party. Nadiah agrees but returns only after the party has ended, resulting in Norleena lashing out at Nadiah. Shruti's humiliation worsens as Pam and her gang taunts her because of what happened with Ben yesterday.

It is Norleena's and Sulaiman's wedding day but Nadiah is left frustrated by Salmah's constant attempt to match-make her with the single male guests. Meanwhile, Wafiq launches his own investigation into the signing of the new office lease as Xue Ling takes Bee Li on a tour of the new office and tries to convince her that a new premise for KS Foods will do the company good

Bhaskar and Meera, shocked by the online insults being directed at Shruti, come up with an idea to soften the blow. Salmah, anxious that nothing happened on Norleena's and Sulaiman's first night, gets on their case about ‘doing it ASAP'. And as part of her plans to rebrand, Xue Ling arranged for an interview with John Scott, a leading columnist from the prestigious business trade magazine

Salmah continues to dispense advice to Sulaiman to take the lead on the consummation of the marriage, much to Sulaiman's annoyance and embarrassment. Over at the Bhaskars, Arjun is stunned when he thinks that Diana is treating him just like a friend, and nothing more, just as Meera and Bhaskar are equally shocked to learn that Diana is Li Yan's daughter. Still on her quest to rebrand KS Foods, Xue Ling organizes a focus group meeting but the result is not quite she expected. While she is halfway through her interview with John Scott, an unexpected visitor turns up

Kwong San cuts his overseas trip short and makes an unexpected return to take up issues with Xue Ling over the new office, and rubs her face in further by getting a potential investor into KS Foods and telling her that she should be spending her time getting revenues in rather than focusing her energy on the new office. Adam's request for funding for his MMA School is rejected due to his lack of experience and collaterals. A concerned Li Yan gives Arjun a ‘warning' about spending too much time with Diana. Meantime, Shruti's popularity increases when she rescues Lauren (Kimberly Chia) from Pam's sabotage

Despite his resistance, Diana accompanies Arjun to his dinner gathering with his high-class friends, and to her horror ends up paying equal share, even though she consciously orders the cheapest item on the menu. Li Yan is still very much against their relationship, somehow agreeing with Meera and citing the difference in their family background as the main divisive factor. Jay commiserates with Li Yan and they grow closer. Meanwhile, in the coffee house, a mysterious female voyeur emerges. Over at KS foods, Xue Ling and Wafiq are tasked by Kwong San to woo this potential investor, Peter Tay (Tay Ping Hui), whose arrogant and demanding style sends them into a tailspin. In the meantime, Sulaiman and Norleena's supposed sex problem becomes the gossip of the day at the coffee house, putting Salmah in the middle of the couple crossfire

Norleena screws up while trying to remove a stain from Sulaiman's NDP uniform, causing much grievances in the Rahman family, with Salmah coming in to mediate, and the couple realizing the occasional squabble is part and parcel of true love. Meanwhile, Meera, who is so set on tearing Arjun away from Diana, employs the latter to clean her house, much to Arjun's disapproval and Bhaskar's annoyance. Adam's Mixed Martial Arts school takes off, with much help from Michael, Melissa and even Shruti, as they devise innovative ways to promote using social media.

As Peter proves to be a difficult, Xue Ling and Kwong San, despite their differences, team up and manage to impress Peter with the new office and salvage the investment deal. But trouble is not over for the Lims as Melissa slips closer towards anorexia. Li Yan reveals to Jay that she knows his real identity is Lim Jun Kai, the son of Bee Li and Kwong San, but she assures him that his secret is safe with her. Meantime, the Tongs console a distraught Ah Biao when Mdm Lee passes after suffering from a sudden cardiac arrest.

The growing rift between Kwong San and Xue Ling upsets Bee Li who persuades Kwong San to move ahead with the times. After his first martial arts class, Adam contemplates a business partnership with Han Xiong, still wary of his evasiveness about his past. Melissa's escalating depression shows when she snaps at Li Yan but Adam does well to bring the family back together. Excited over Lauren's birthday invitation, Eddie convinces Li Yan to let him wait tables for a wage and warmth all around as the families come together for Mdm Lee's remembranc

Ben's relationship with Vanessa hits a bump when the double date with Sulaiman and Norleena turns sour after Vanessa acts out in jealousy against Norleena. Excited and eager to impress Lauren, Eddie arrives at her birthday party only to find out that he is way out of her league. Suspicions grow when Meera discovers a selfie that Rachelle sent to Bhaskar, thanking him for the gift. In retaliation, she cancels a dinner reservation which was meant for their wedding anniversary celebration

Bhaskar has big wedding anniversary plans in store for Meera but cannot believe that she has forgotten all about their big day. Ben's concern for Vanessa goes up a notch when he learns she is meeting up with her abusive ex-boyfriend. When Eddie gets annoyed with Mark for flashing the cash, it turns into an unexpected money-making opportunity for him.

Meera turns nasty when the tension between her and Bhaskar reach breaking point. Adam's MMA classes get a great reception until Xue Ling gives him a reality check. Eddie gets a lucrative new job that turns out to be much more than he bargained for. Ben tries to stay away from Vanessa but her emotional pull is too strong for him.

Being away on leave from KS Foods prompts Xue Ling to help start-up Adams' new martial arts venture, although her strict business techniques prove to be more of a hindrance than a help to Adam's carefree and relaxed approach. More trouble brews when Adam contemplates accepting Han Xiong's proposal to go into business together. Determined to oust Rachelle from her husband's life, Meera seeks the help of a cold, collected socialite, Nadine. She assures Meera that with her connections, Rachelle will be but a distant memory for the Bhaskar family. Li Yan cannot figure out why the usual chatty and cordial duo of Jay and Suzanne seems to not be on the best of terms, but little does she know that they have a big surprise waiting for her. Meanwhile, Eddie is a bundle of nerves as he gets ready for his first-ever date as an escort.

Sulaiman is pressured by Salmah to quickly start a family while she and Nadiah have to deal with extra expenses when their water heater breaks down. Meanwhile, Norleena, who has been feeling under the weather, finds out the real reason behind it, which ultimately will cause more expenses in the Rahman household. Xue Ling tries to find an investor for Adam's business venture but it does not sit well with Adam when she uses the Lim name to sell the business. Frustrated, Adam makes a decision about his business that could ultimately cause friction between husband and wife. Eddie wants to earn more money as an escort but cannot get enough jobs. He seeks advice from Mark, who plainly tells him that being an escort is not an easy job and that he has to up his game if he wants to flourish in the business.

Xue Ling discovers that Jay is working at the coffee house. She puts pressure on him to return home. Meanwhile, Nadiah suspects that Kwong San was underhanded with her father, Abdul Rahman, withholding crucial information which might have changed the fortunes of the Rahmans. Norleena and Salmah are excited because they think Norleena is pregnant, but Sulaiman is not so enthusiastic. Mark advises Eddie to treat his clients as cash cows and put emotions aside. Eddie is conflicted.

Nadiah investigated a photo, trying to find out if Kwong San had lied and thus misled Abdul Rahman into selling his shares before KS Foods made it big. Salmah is upset. She suffered through Abdul Rahman's obsession with ‘injustice' and cannot go through that again. After Michael catches him out on a lie, Eddie confesses that he is an escort. Norleena wants to try hard for a pregnancy and is upset when Sulaiman feels they should wait.

Michael urges Eddie to quit the escort business but he refuses. Later, on a date with Ai Lin, she suggests they skip dinner and go to her home instead. A flustered Eddie finds himself in hot soup when Ai Lin's husband returns home unexpectedly. Meanwhile, upon learning that Nadiah is graduating from a course in Human Resources, Xue Ling offers Nadiah a job at KS Foods.

The cold war between Norleena and Sulaiman over the debate of having children ends when they are thrown into baby-sitting duties for the neighbour's two young toddlers. Kwong San is none too happy when he finds out that Xue Ling is recruiting Nadiah for the HR position at KS Foods. He wants her out but Bee Li manages to convince him that recruiting Nadiah will ensure he has good karma, while Meera organizes another house party to boost Arjun's standing in the hospital but Arjun did not turn up, much to Meera's disappointment

Norleena's and Sulaiman's baby-sitting adventure continues and the whole experience makes them realise that looking after children is easier said than done. Meantime, Meera's friend tries to lure Rachelle to work for another clinic but the plan gets foiled when Bhaskar stands firm and refuses to let Rachelle go, which lead to a huge confrontation between Meera and him about his allege affair with Rachelle. Shruti's online woes escalate when she starts losing fans who believes she is bullying and making fat jokes at the expense of a fellow student Aishah during the filming of Campus TV.

Bhaskar tries to explain to Meera that there is nothing going on between Rachelle and him but is stumped when he could not justify where he was during that period when he was accompanying Li Yan to see the Oncologist. More suspected infidelity on the cards when Suzanne stumbles upon a Chloe on Christopher (James Seah)'s Whatsapps chat. With the help of Diana, Suzanne gets in contact with her to sort things out.

The Tongs organize a farewell dinner for Christopher before he goes back to Perth, but he drops the big lie that he has graduated and is not going back Down Under as he is not keen to pursue an honours degree. But that is not the only bombshell dropped during that dinner. Vanessa makes a faux pas about Li Yan having to get married quickly because of Eddie, while Meera has decided to take Bhaskar's word for it that there is nothing between Rachelle and him as she prepares for a weekend trip to Bali with Bhaskar.

Chris' revelation not to pursue his honours degree continues to torment Li Yan while his latest venture into investment in the stock market without a proper salary further deepens her woe. Chris also plays the despotism card and reaches out to Xue Ling through Adam for a position in KS Food, and although his interview fails to impress Wafiq, his impromptu sales pitch got him an internship, much to Li Yan's relief and Suzanne's ongoing stupefaction. Meanwhile, Eddie's pimp, Pierre, drops in at the coffee house, which forces him to devises his own subterfuge when he has to hide his escort moonlighting job from the family. Much to the amusement of the Tong family, the resident cook Zul turns into an unlikely celebrity storyteller.

Eddie has another close-call when Chris overhears his conversation about a new escort assignment for the evening. To Eddie's surprise, Chris is rather indifferent about it, and even gives Eddie advice on better ways to get rich. At the dinner, Eddie's date turns out to be his discipline master Mrs Pereira (Bridget Fernandez). What begins as a disastrous date slowly comes around; at evening's end the two have become friends. In the meantime, Ah Biao picks up a rude and condescending customer/passenger, and ends up at the police station after a violent spa

Eddie gets back at Mrs Pereira after she serves him a detention, only to realise later that his actions caused her to snap and get sent home early by the Principal. His worries mount when he learns Lauren has a crush on another guy and he is desperate to find out who. Meanwhile, Jay comes to the Tong's rescue yet again by getting the rude passenger to drop all charges against Ah Biao. Li Yan comforts Bhaskar who offloads his guilt about Rachelle while Vanessa has Ben dancing to her tunes, much to everyone's dismay.

Bhaskar seeks the help of Li Yan and Salmah to help Meera part-take in some outside activities so she would not be cooped up at home and start overthinking with her idle mind. The ladies then join up with the Tanglin Ladies Circle group helmed by Bee Li. Eddie gets worried and guilty when he thinks it is him who caused Mrs Pereira's meltdown because of that unexpected social-escort date. And Meera gets really upset again when she finds out that Bhaskar actually went for lunch with Rachelle but he told her he went for a meeting.

Melissa is sick and tired of being treated like a child and she embarks on a plan to grow up. Ben organizes a surprised birthday party for Vanessa, and she gets angry when she learns that Li Yan will not be able to attend – she was not interested to attend anyway. Meantime, after informing Salmah that he is on a house visit, Bhaskar spends the afternoon with Li Yan. Meera is suspicious of this house visit and starts investigation to get concrete proof that Bhaskar is spending time with Rachelle, but things come to a head when Salmah spots Li Yan coming out of Bhaskar's car later that evening.

Vanessa's birthday party is already over when Li Yan returns home, and this time, it is Ben who is angry with her for snubbing the birthday party. Melissa's quest to grow up continues as she makes Adam go shopping for clothes which are two sizes too big for her, and start throwing tantrums when disallowed to put on make-up, much to Xue Ling's concern. Meanwhile, Salmah demands to know from Li Yan what is going on between Bhaskar and her, forcing Li Yan to admit that Bhaskar was her first love, and Arjun gets a shock when Shruti shows him Meera's involvement in an online chatroom about infidelity.

Melissa discovers that Michael has joined a breakdancing contest behind his parents' back. When she persuades him to teach her a few moves, she falls and hurts herself. Arjun worries that Shruti's fears over Meera's online postings and Bhaskar's alleged infidelity could open up a new can of worms

The Lims struggle to come to terms with Melissa's anorexia and tension mounts within the family. Adam refuses to believe Melissa is not well but only succeeds in upsetting her. At the charity fundraiser organized by the Tanglin Ladies Circle, Meera makes an unkind remark about Diana that Li Yan overhears

Li Yan regrets getting too close to Bhaskar who is angered to learn that Meera has been spying on him. Adam's frustration with Melissa spills over into his MMA class when he injures a student. Xue Ling still has trouble getting Melissa to eat properly, and runs away from home when she felt that she is being forced to see a specialis

Bhaskar finally reveals all to Meera about his past with Li Yan but it only succeeds in raising more doubts about their marriage. Melissa is still missing as the Lims desperately try to locate her. In the meantime, the friendship between Wati and Lathika grows

The Lims are eager to find the person who saved Melissa from being knocked down by a car, and Xue Ling gets a shock when Li Yan reveals that it was Jay who saved Melissa. Shruti, overwhelmed by the amount of cyber-bullying is forced to make the crucial decision of whether she should shut down her blog and swear off social media for the time being while Diana discovers Bhaskar's and Li Yan's past, and things got worse when Meera instigates Diana into thinking that her relationship with Arjun is doomed to fail and she would be better off without him

P 56 Diana is troubled by Meera's words and seeks advice from both Jay and Li Yan, who tells her to follow her heart and do what she feels is right. Suzanne is slightly envious of Chris working at KS Foods and somewhat regrets her decision of not accepting their offer. Realizing he is not getting many gigs, Eddie asks Pierre what is happening, only to get a reply from Pierre that unless he is willing to go ‘further' in his dates, he can forget about making that much money, leaving Eddie to ponder about this job.

Chris is put in a spot when Li Yan asked about his degree certificate as she wants to display it. More issues surface between the couple when Suzanne confronts Chris about their future marital plans. Meanwhile, the cyber-bullying takes a sinister turn for Shruti causing her to skip school. Seeing how it affected Shruti, Arjun stands up for Shruti and tells the bullies off despite hurting from his break up with Diana

Despite having a fight the day before, Suzanne comes to Chris' rescue when he struggles to keep up with an important client. Chris manages to divert Suzanne's focus from marriage to getting a job before settling down. In school, Shruti opens up to Eddie about her emotional diary while Eddie tries to get Mrs Pereira to stay in Tanglin JC. Mystery unfolds as Nadiah finds a box of documents belonging to Abdul Rahman which contains past information on KS Foods.

Eddie's relationship with Lauren blossoms after he orders a Solowheel for her. However things get tricky when Eddie finds out that Chris lost all his money in an investment. After the discovery of Rahman's diary, Salmah cautions Nadiah against pursuing the matter as it may affect in her new job in KS Foods. However, Nadiah decides to investigate further. Taking on Chris' advice, Suzanne applies for a job at KS Foods.

Cash-strapped, Eddie goes around looking for ways to raise money to pay for Lauren's Solowheels. To make things worse, Lauren tweets about a “surprise” for everyone in school. On pretext of doing an interview, Nadiah locates Linda Hartono, only to realize that Linda has lost her memory to dementia. Back home, Norleena decides to take up Bhaskar job offer. Meanwhile, after dragging his feet on settling down, Chris finally agrees to apply for a BTO flat with Suzanne.

Nadiah's first day at KS Foods does not go smoothly when she gets a cold reception from the staff especially from Kwong San. Eddie and Lauren have a lunch date at the coffee house and it is clear to see that there is a growing attraction between them. Meanwhile, Ben and Vanessa go for a picnic and she painfully reveals to him about being estranged from her family and missing her brother that makes Ben determined to reunite her with her family. Norleena gets information on her medical results – information that can change the course of her plans and ultimately, her future

While minding Kalila, Nadiah learns that Wafiq is strict and puts too much pressure on Kalila to get good grades. Later, Nadiah and Wafiq clash over their different views of potential people to hire and Nadiah makes a remark which gets too personal. Ben, encouraged by Suzanne, tries to track down Vanessa's family, in hopes of facilitating a family reunion. Sulaiman and Norleena find out that Salmah had used her Hajj savings to help pay for their wedding. They feel terribly guilty.

Ben arranges a surprise for Vanessa but when she sees that the surprise is her brother Derrick, she gets agitated and that reunion reveals a dark family past. Meanwhile, Norleena decides to take up a job so she can repay Salmah, but Salmah is not happy as she feels that Norleena should not be working because of her pregnancy. Ah Biao is depressed that his injury has delayed his return to work. To cheer him up, Eddie asks Ah Biao to teach him photography at the park. There, Ah Biao befriends a fellow photography enthusiast, Uncle Richard.

Derrick tells Ben some things about Vanessa which causes him to have serious doubts about her. While taking photos at the park, Ah Biao gets accused by an auntie for being the pervert photographer who have been preying on girls and women in the park. Eddie's and Lauren's relationship blossom but his relationship with Shruti sinks to rock bottom when she accuses him of betraying her.

Ben is stunned when the police show up at the hospital to ask if he hurt Vanessa. When Derrick arrives with his mother, Vanessa chases them away. Her mother reveals another side to Vanessa, but it is clear that she is protective of Vanessa. Whereas the father just sees her as trouble and a source of embarrassment. Meanwhile, Eddie is convinced that Uncle Richard is the dirty old man. He and Adam confront Uncle Richard. Julie rushes to help Uncle Richard and chastises Adam and Eddie for bullying a senior citizen.

The cold war between Li Yan and Salmah continues at the TCH Mid-Autumn Festival lantern-making event, with Li Yan upset when she learns of Norleena's pregnancy through Abang Zul. Vanessa, in her bid to get Ben close to her, makes up a story that she had a fall-out with her housemate, much to Sulaiman's frustration. Eddie reveals to Lauren that he knows she is behind all those online attacks on Shruti, but he covers up for Lauren and falsely admits to Shruti that he is one who is responsible for those nasty posts.

Bee Li is upset with Meera for upstaging her at the lantern-making event yesterday, and Kwong San gives her some advice on dealing with Meera based on an ancient art of war ‘know-your-enemy' philosophy. Despite their cold war, Salmah risks her job when she breaks patient confidentiality and reveals Vanessa's medical condition to Li Yan after reading through her medical records. In the meantime, Lauren feels bad for Eddie and wants to admit to Shruti that she is actually the one behind those nasty posts, but Eddie discourages her from doing so.

Ben tries to broach the subject of her medical condition to Vanessa, but it ends up in a shouting match when Vanessa refuses to admit to it. The tea session that Bee Li organized for Meera with the purpose of 'knowing-the-enemy' turns into a competitive showdown of sorts between the two ladies. When Li Yan finds out that Salmah was suspended by Bhaskar over the Vanessa's incident, she pays a visit to Salmah and the two BFFs finally clear the air and reconcile.

A grateful Vanessa goes overboard trying to make up for Li Yan's kindness to allow her to stay at the Tongs for the time being. Ben is alarmed when Vanessa suggests she might make her stay there permanently. The rift between Eddie and Michael grows wider. At the same time, Michael believes Eddie is not the one cyber-bullying Shruti and thinks his uncle may be covering up for someone instead.

Ben and Sulaiman visit Vanessa's parents and are surprised to discover that they have known all along about her mental condition. Michael's determination to find the real cyberbully and clear Eddie's name goes into overdrive. Over at the clinic, Bhaskar gets Arjun to help out at the children's flu jab day, but Arjun's got a hopeless bedside manner when it comes to kids

Ben and Vanessa appear to be even closer now, much to Li Yan's worry. Wafiq upsets Nadiah during a workplace disagreement then feels indebted to her when she offers to help look after Kalila. Kwong San and Xue Ling have to deal with a report accusing a KS Foods' supplier of running a factory under sweatshop conditions. In the meantime, Arjun misses Diana, not realising that she is forming a close bond with Jay.

A lot is happening at the KS Foods office as Nadiah secretly fishes for information on the business deal involving her father and Linda Hartono, Suzanne impresses all with her CSR pitch, Wafiq and Xue Ling scrutinizing all the supplier contracts while Chris gets introduced to a new intern Aaron Galistan. Diana, feeling low, daydreams about travelling the world as Arjun drowns himself in work in an attempt to get over her. Light fun at the Rahman's when Sulaiman goes overboard with baby-proofing the house and annoying Norleena.

In the first official planning committee meeting, Aaron impresses all with his confident and articulate manner, much to the shock of Chris. Having devoured the Linda Hartono file overnight, Nadiah finds further evidence of her father being conned and manages to return the file in the nick of time - but not without some hiccups. Melissa's eating woes continue while Eddie gets flak for continuing his lavish lifestyle. Trying to enjoy her day off, Norleena appears hormonal and overwhelmed with Sulaiman's attention and online research on pregnancy.

It is the battle of the interns between Chris and Aaron at KS Foods. The stake? A full-time contract will be offered to the one who can come up with the best proposal for the company's main event – the KS20 Charity Walkathon. Meantime, the Lims' battle with Melissa's anorexia continues while Arjun mistakes Jay to be Diana's new squeeze.

The rivalry between Chris and Aaron escalates when Aaron leaves Chris out of the email loop with regards to the KS20 Charity Walkathon event. Ann attempts to get back into Arjun's life again with the help of her mother Kiran, while Bhaskar thinks that Arjun is old enough to make his own decision in the dating department but Meera thinks otherwise. Grandparents-granddaughter bonding time as Kwong San and Bee Li take Melissa out for an outing and Bee Li is stung by an unintentional rude comment from Melissa.

Afraid to be admitted to the hospital, Melissa tanks up on water to cheat the scales, but is eventually exposed. More woes for Melissa as Adam hits the roof when he discovers she has been surfing those anorexia websites that promote ‘thin is in'. After a talk with Bhaskar, Arjun finally decides to forget Diana for good and focus on his career. Ah Biao passes his taxi licence renewal test while Bee Li takes a shot at organising KS Foods press launch after enrolling onto an online interior design course.

Adam is in denial about his anger issues and during a family gathering at the Tongs, Adam lashes out at Li Yan for the breakup of his parents. The pressure is on Chris after learning from Felicia (Kayly Loh) that the only permanent staff position will be confirmed soon. His attempts to dig up discriminating evidence against Aaron come to naught. Shruti's plan to bring Arjun and Diana together backfires when Arjun turns up at TCH with another girl.

Chris discovers the reason for Aaron's dismissal from his previous job through Suzanne's help. Ben reaches out to Adam and encourages him to seek help for his anger management problems after he got affected by Melissa's condition. Troubles abound in TCH's kitchen when an equipment breaks down, threatening to stall operations. Diana decides to sacrifice her holiday fund to help out.

Knowing that Diana gave up her savings to resolve the TCH's fridge saga, Jay tries to help her by introducing more cleaning jobs but Diana rejects his help outright – she feels that he should be helping his own family instead. Meanwhile the rivalry between Chris and Aaron comes to a head when Chris hatches a devious plan to get Aaron fired from KS Foods.

It is time for KS Foods to choose between Chris and Aaron for the permanent position and Aaron is clearly the favourite. In her bid to help Chris, Suzanne accuses Aaron of misappropriate behaviour towards her, but an unexpected turn of events await her. In the meantime, Li Yan finds out that Jay has booked an air ticket back to the US, and Eddie tries desperately to raise cash to pay Pierre back.

Feeling like he is being controlled by everyone, Jay makes the decision to pack up and leave, albeit half-heartedly. Eddie ropes Michael in to help distribute flyers for Pierre but the duo later realizes that those flyers are for loansharking activities. Norleena fears for Sulaiman's safety when she finds out that he is involved in fighting a major fire outbreak in a warehouse. Chris decides to seek Xue Ling's help after Suzanne is suspended from work.

Faced with an ultimatum from Pierre, Eddie is torn on whether he should become a loanshark runner for Pierre to settle his debt. After his warehouse fire-fighting heroics, Sulaiman starts to receive praise from everyone, and even landing an interview with the media. However, Norlenna is not so thrilled about the whole thing. Meantime, Nadiah discovers the harsh reality of working in a family run business after the Aaron-Suzanne episode.

Norleena is quite cold towards Sulaiman over him becoming the recent heartland hero and the endless praises that keep following him everywhere they go. However, a chance meeting with the wife of a man Sulaiman had saved begins to put everything into perspective for her. The coffee house is hit with vandalism and the Tongs are clueless on who would do such an awful thing. However, Eddie knows too well whose handiwork this could be and in order to protect his family, he makes the difficult decision of becoming Pierre's loanshark runner

Eddie is torn as to whether to confess to Li Yan about all his deeds but when he finally plucks up the courage to own up, Li Yan has already found out. Bitterly disappointed, she doles out a harsh punishment, which devastates Eddie and Michael. Meanwhile, Meera is upset to find out that Arjun is dating several girls at the same time. Over at the Lims, Wati has a secret visitor, arousing Bee Li's suspicions that Wati has a boyfriend

Bee Li gets paranoid about Wati's 'boyfriend' and her probing turns into an embarrassing confrontation that involves Meera and Lathika. In the meantime, Meera is upset and worried about Arjun's serial dating and late night partying, but Bhaskar shuts her down. With the ban still in place, Michael badly misses the company of Eddie, and finds ways to cheer himself up, while Sulaiman has some career plans which thrill Norleena

Kwong San hires a top tutor for Michael with hopes that he will be able to excel in his A-Levels and get into a good business school in the US. However, Xue Ling is not keen for Michael to go overseas, whilst Adam thinks the idea of tuition will only add more pressure on Michael. Bee Li, feeling guilty over the mobile phone incident with Wati, decides to grant Wati a home leave to visit her family and see her children, much to her delight. Meanwhile, Li Yan continues to worry about Eddie over his upcoming exams and his ability to stay out of trouble, as Salmah assures her that Eddie is not that bad as perceived to be.

Xue Ling, in her attempt to put an end to the squabbles between Nadiah and Wafiq, arrange a dinner date for them to get to know each other better, but Wafiq got to know more about Kalila over dinner instead. Michael gets some serious lessons on Economics with the top tutor who put him through his paces like an army drill sergeant, while Kwong San gets worried that Bee Li might not be able to cope with the housework and cooking after the latter grants Wati a week's off.

Kalila is upset when she finds out that she has to stay with Wafiq for six months when her mother Yasmine goes on an overseas assignment. Over at Tanglin JC, Mark introduces Michael some ‘brain booster' that will help with studying and coping for the A-Level exams, and that leaves Michael curious and tempted. Eddie continues hanging out at Shruti's place on the pretext of revising for the A-Levels, much to Meera's annoyance, but Eddie somehow charms his way to Meera's heart

Business at TCH has been bad and Li Yan considers desperate measures to arrest the decline. Exams fever for Eddie, Michael and Shruti as they knuckle down to study for their A-Levels. Wafiq has Kalila under his care full-time but is worried that Kwong San may not take kindly to a change in working hours. Meanwhile Bee Li, having let Wati go home for a holiday, struggles with doing even the most basic household chores

Li Yan has to deal with a new financial issue when she learns the coffee house air-conditioner needs a complete overhaul. Sulaiman gets overly self-conscious with Norleena about his impending Top Ten Hottest Men in Uniform photo shoot. Michael struggles to keep up with his A-Level swotting while Eddie just manages to survive the first day of his intensive study boot camp organized by Ben and Diana.

It is the first day of the A-Level exams; both Shruti and Michael face additional stress from their over-concerned parents. Over at TCH, financial woes keep piling up on Li Yan and she learns she cannot shoulder the responsibility on her own. Arjun's playboy ways show no signs of abating and this incurs Meera's wrath.

Salmah gets overprotective of Norleena as the threat of a HFMD (Hand Foot and Mouth Disease) outbreak looms over the Tanglin neighbourhood. Meanwhile, Michael, struggling to cope with his exams and workload, considers buying the ADHD pills to help with his concentration. Diana toils away at work to fund the aircon repairs at TCH, only to find out she is been outsmarted by Chris. At the Bhaskars, Arjun continues his playboy lifestyle but would a tiff with Priyanka over a family dinner force him to rethink his actions?

Gastric troubles force Kwong San home early and Bee Li to cancel the practice session for the walkathon with the Bhaskars, but does not keep Kwong San from working from home. It is culinary training time at TCH and Xue Ling finds herself bonding with Jun Kai while learning to make cute and healthy snacks for Melissa. Not so much bonding at the Rahman's however, as Sulaiman, engrossed with his ever increasing Facebook following, finds himself in trouble for ignoring Norleena. A rather dramatic ending to Arjun's otherwise slow and boring day off when a heart to heart talk with his father coupled with a few extra drinks, spurs him to pour his heart out to Diana and give her an ultimatum.

Kwong San piles the pressure on Suzanne and Chris when the sign-up rate for the KS20 Charity Walkathon is not as good as he expected it to be. A walkathon training session with Bhaskar exposed an unexpected serious ailment. Sulaiman brings home a life-size cut-out of himself, and he got upset when Salmah ‘accidentally' destroyed it. Over at TCH, Diana is torn between calling Arjun and ignoring his ultimatum altogether after some ‘advice' from Jay.

Bee Li is feeling lonely and helpless after Kwong San was admitted to hospital for cardio treatment and is relieved to have Wati back at home. To hide Kwong San's medical condition and hospital stay from Xue Ling, Bee Li cooks up a tale about Kwong San having to meet Jun Kai urgently in Australia, a lie that leaves the siblings baffled. Meanwhile Yasmine lays down the ground rules and gives Wafiq some 'to-do' list for Kalila's stay with him, much to Wafiq's apprehension because that means adding more stress for him juggling Kalila and his work

Bee Li is shocked to see Jun Kai at the hospital. Emotional fallout as Jun Kai reveals that he was back some time ago but chose to stay with the Tongs. Bee Li issues Jun Kai an ultimatum; be committed to the family and the business or stay away from the Lims. Having witnessed Meera's brain fog and irritability during the preparation of Deepavali, Bhaskar suspects Meera is going through menopause. Kalila moves in with Wafiq and things get off the wrong foot when the colours and decoration of her bedroom is not to her liking. Michael, pressured to do well in his A-Levels, turns to some ‘extra help' to keep himself going.

In retaliation to Jun Kai's rejecting her ultimatum, Bee Li cuts off Jun Kai's allowance and raise TCH's rental above market rate. Kwong San covers up about his heart operation by lying to Xue Ling that he went to see someone whose company was taken over by Peter Tay. Hoping for a chance that Nadiah and her ‘handsome colleague' Wafiq might date someday, Salmah is disappointed when she learns that Wafiq is married and is also the father of Kalila. Meanwhile Michael reveals to Melissa that he harbours the ambition of being a pilot, but is dismayed that his life is all mapped out without consulting him. Over at the Bhaskars, Deepavali ends on a sour note for Meera when her sari was damaged by a fire from an oil lamp and regards it as a bad omen.

Michael rebels against his family and Kwong San's wishes by refusing to study business, nor join KS Foods. He gains an unexpected ally in Bee Li, who is affected by Jun Kai's return. Xue Ling has some bonding time with Jun Kai, and gets suspicious about the lies Kwong San and Bee Li had weaved to hide Kwong San's poor health conditions. In the meantime, Shruti is on the hunt for something that will lift Meera's bad mood.

As Michael continues the struggle of coping for his exams, he finds an unlikely source of comfort and joy in Pam. While at home, Bee Li continues covering up for Kwong San's illness in front of Xue Ling. Shruti gives Meera a pleasant surprise and eases her mood swings. Her effort comes to naught when she clumsily reveals her intentions to ease Meera's menopausal symptoms. As the HFMD lurks in the shadows, Salmah frets over Norleena's pregnancy and exposure to the disease, and as a result, confronting Sulaiman for his nonchalant attitude towards the HFMD outbreak.

Bhaskar finally broaches on the subject of menopause with Meera. However, Meera is in denial and is upset when Bhaskar tries to fix her up with drugs. Later when Lathika reminds Bhaskar to be a husband instead of a doctor, Bhaskar makes it up to Meera and patch things up with her. As word gets around that Diana has contracted HFMD and has to be quarantined, Jun Kai shows his caring side towards her. A new friendship between Michael and Pam blossoms when Michael helped Pam in her exam revision and she, in turn, stands up for him against her own friends.

Jun Kai stops a recuperating Diana from going to work and entertains her by playing cards with her. Despite their squabbling, they enjoy each other's company. Bhaskar gets irritated with Meera when she questions his prescriptions for her menopause. Later, out exercising at the park, she bumps into Bee Li, who shows compassion for Meera's suffering. Meanwhile, Melissa gets her exam results and is not too happy about it.

After hearing that Kalila has not been eating properly, Wafiq is worried that she might be influenced by Melissa's anorexia. However, Nadiah reassures him that Kalila is sensible enough not to fall into eating disorder. Over at TCH, a hypersensitive Meera gets upset when she thinks that Li Yan is gossiping about her with Chris and Suzanne. Li Yan, on the other hand, has problems on her own when she gets a notice from her landlord KS Foods about a huge rent increase.

Xue Ling gets upset with Wafiq when Melissa contracted HFMD from Kalila. She feels that if Wafiq had taken pre-emptive measures, this would not have happened. Xue Ling gets even more worried when she learns that it is a lot more dangerous for someone with Melissa's medical condition to get HFMD. Meantime, Li Yan negotiates with Bee Li over the TCH rent increase, and Bee Li gets evasive when Li Yan links the reason behind the rent increase to Jay. When Bhaskar offers Norleena an opportunity to upgrade herself, Norleena is thrilled and wants to share the news with Sulaiman. However she is shocked to learn that Sulaiman has intentions for her to quit her job.

Norleena is upset that besides Sulaiman, Salmah too, wants her to quit the clinic job and concentrate on having the baby. She feels betrayed by them. It is father-daughter bonding time as Wafiq goes to the mall with Kalila to get some medical supplies, but the shopping trip turns sour when Kalila overhears a phone conversation between Wafiq and a client that makes her think Wafiq is more interested in his work then spending time with her. Meanwhile, Eddie gets suspicious when Pam starts hanging around Michael. He thinks that Pam is trying to make use of Michael. However, Michael defends Pam, which riles Eddie

Xue Ling devises a plan to swop the low-fat frozen yogurt that Melissa usually eats, with the rich, high-fat ones, in yet another desperate bid to fatten her up. To Xue Ling's relief, Melissa could not taste the difference. Nadiah is surprised to learn that Wafiq had got a neighbour to look after Kalila at home. When Kalila tells Nadiah she is not comfortable with this arrangement, Nadiah gets Salmah to help out. Further conversations with Wafiq lead to the revelation of Wafiq's feeling that he is not cut out to be the perfect father and husband. Over at the Rahmans, Norleena and Sulaiman clear up their misunderstanding when they finally understand where each other is coming from in terms of their jobs and future plans.

Having to cover for Wafiq while he is at home settling the new maid, Nadiah finds it difficult to deal with Kwong San's demands, reinforcing her already negative impression of him. Kwong San, meanwhile, continues to cover up his medical condition with the help of Bee Li. Feeling guilty for causing the rental hike, Jay secretly helps Li Yan and the Tongs in their coffee house business, and steps in to convince Xue Ling and Adam to lift the ban on Michael and Eddie hanging out together.

Abdul's death anniversary casts a sombre mood over the Rahmans' with Nadiah feeling especially emotional and conflicted after Kwong San shows concern over her well-being. In the meantime, Kwong San and Wafiq share a moment that hints of a dark past. Comic relief as Jay and Zul compete for Chris and Diana's approval of their cooking skill, resulting in Jay being hurt when Diana says she prefers Zul's dish. The fellowship of the trio of Michael, Eddie and Shruti is being undermined with the intrusion of Pam. To make things worse, Pam makes Michael as her prom date.

Diana discovers Jay's plan in helping TCH secretly and confronts him. Grateful for his concern over Li Yan, Diana softens her attitude towards Jay which only makes him more uncomfortable. Despite his denials, Jay realises his feelings for Diana goes much deeper. With the prom date drawing closer, Eddie and Shruti pressure Michael to dump Pam, but Michael changes his mind after witnessing Pam's kindness towards Melissa. After her emotional breakdown in the office, Nadiah apologises to Kwong San and Wafiq. Wafiq misreads Kwong San's rare display of openness as a compromise of their pact, but Kwong San assures Wafiq of his discretion.

With no prom date in sight, Shruti offers to go with Eddie as his date, much to everyone's surprise, especially Eddie himself. With a heightened awareness of his mortality, Kwong San admits his fears to Bhaskar who encourages him to take a proactive approach in managing his health. After witnessing Jay's edginess when Arjun chats Diana up, Zul pushes the issue with Jay, encouraging him to go after Diana, but Jay is defensive and tells Zul off. Afraid of losing his friendship with Diana and the Tongs, Jay chooses to bury his feelings.

At the Tanglin JC prom night, a rivalry between Mark and Michael is kindled, while Pam and Shruti unite with a common dislike of Lauren. Over at TCH, Li Yan and the Tongs encourage Diana to realise her travel dreams, but Jay is caught between his desire for her to leave, as well as for her to stay. Salmah takes the initiative to introduce a dating app to Zul and Ben, much to their apprehension and annoyance.

Salmah takes one step further with the dating app by setting up Zul's and Ben's online profiles without their knowledge. Chris, frustrated that his stint at KS Foods is going nowhere, rats on Suzanne in a bid to make himself look good, but the plan backfires when Xue Ling sees through it. With the JC life done and dusted and National Service (NS) looming, Eddie and Michael draw up a Pre-NS bucket list. Eddie's decision to look for a job to pay back the loan has Li Yan beaming with pride.

Kwong San decides it is time to draft a will and Bee Li is not very happy about it on superstitious grounds. She gets even more upset when she learns of what Kwong San plans for the will. At KS Foods, Chris finds himself in hot soup when he misses an important email regarding the company's impending 20th anniversary walkathon. Meanwhile, Salmah runs into a potential child abuse case in the neighbourhood.

Bee Li wants Xue Ling to keep major problem at the KS Foods' factory from Kwong San that threatens to cause further divisions between father and daughter. Chris is overwhelmed by the walkathon duties and seeing Suzanne is busy, he takes advantage of Felicia's crush on him to bail him out. Li Yan considers organizing a casual dining for singles at TCH and gets plenty of advice and ideas from an over-enthusiastic Salmah.

It is the day of KS Foods' walkathon and Jay has a close shave running into Kwong San at the TCH. Suzanne shines as she chaperones the walkathon Celebrity Guest but then she mysteriously falls ill. Chris takes advantage of her misfortune to grab the limelight while Felicia tries to get close to him. Salmah's concern over an abused patient grows deeper in spite of warnings from Sulaiman to stay out of a potential domestic dispute.

Suzanne gets an asthma attack and Chris, feeling guilty for taking advantage of her illness, overcompensates and believes that KS Foods should take responsibility for her illness. Salmah goes against everyone's advice and makes a police report about Mdm Mary Tan abusing her daughter Dawn. Jay has to live with an embarrassing revelation that has been broadcast to everyone by Diana.

Sulaiman is upset when he got dragged into the Salmah-Mary Tan saga. But there is more that meets the eye with regards to Sulaiman's reaction to the alleged Dawn's abuse case, and that poses some questions for Norleena. Li Yan kick starts the preparation for the TCH Singles Lunch event as the bickering pair of Diana and Jay contributes their own ideas. Meantime, Ah Biao's previously injured knee gives way again when he chases after a couple of taxi fare evaders.

Norleena is determined to find out what is going on with Sulaiman and the cause of his mood swings after he got sucked into Dawn's alleged abused case. More headaches for Zul as he feels he is falling behind Ben in the race for a date online. He is delighted when a Rahimah gets in touch with him but he gets frustrated again when she starts giving him mixed signals. Nadiah runs into an ex-JC classmate Ashraff at Hong Kong Disneyland and he reveals that he has something ‘important' to tell her after all these years.

Ben goes for a highly anticipated date with someone he met on the online dating app, while Zul comes face-to-face with Rahimah, but both meetings end up with disastrous results. The saga between Mary Tan and Salmah takes a wicked twist when the whole neighbourhood turns against Salmah, making her the public enemy number one. Meanwhile, the encounter with Ashraff has Nadiah opening up her eyes and mind to love and romance.

As Norleena continues probing about that mystery letter, Sulaiman decides to deal with the issue that has been bugging him and move on with his life. Over at the TCH, the very first singles lunch ‘Meet and Eat' did not start and end as well as Li Yan hoped for. And seeing a dejected Li Yan, Diana comes up with a plan to make the next ‘Meet and Eat' event even better, but that plan got Jay worried

Jay is not comfortable with Diana going undercover at the other cafe's singles lunch event, so he cooks up an excuse to tag along. Amidst the colourful and weird characters they meet in the event, both Diana and Jay begin to share things about themselves and surprisingly bond quite well. More dating drama as Zul gets another date request through the dating app. Although he expresses nonchalance about it, he cannot help but be curious about the other party and decides to check on her

Ben manages to convince Sulaiman to meet up with his estranged father Hassan. However, the meeting is swift and cold as Sulaiman does not intend to bond with Hassan but rather to get a few things off his chest. Sulaiman also discovers a shocking truth behind the meeting. Li Yan comes to Meera's aid when she experiences a hot flash whilst at TCH. As the ladies bond, Meera shares some marketing and promotion concepts for the Singles Lunch. Li Yan thinks they are great ideas but Diana is far from impressed

Sulaiman is on an emotional roller coaster after finding out about Hassan's new family and his half-siblings. Norleena begins to feel the effect of his mood swings and worse, she comes face-to-face with Hassan when he decides to pay Sulaiman's family a visit. Meantime, Eddie and Shruti are concerned over Michael's soft spot for Pam and spending time with her. Over at TCH, Arjun and Diana get into a minor tiff when Arjun thinks that Diana is making fun of Meera, while Salmah and Li Yan raise their concern with Zul over hooking up with the young online date Juliana. They think Juliana is out to cheat Zul of his money.

Diana feels bad about making jokes about Meera. She wants to apologise to Arjun but Jay tries to dissuade her as he is afraid that she may reconcile with Arjun. Over at the Rahmans, Norleena and Salmah demand to know why Sulaiman told them his father is dead when he is not, but he tries to evade the issue. When Arjun tells Diana that Jay might have feelings for her, she scoffs at his wild speculation. On the other hand, Diana is concerned that Arjun may be right. Michael is secretive about his part-time job, and this only makes Eddie determined to find out what it is, so with the help of Shruti and Pam, they embark on the mission to uncover the truth, leading to an unexpected and hilarious outcome

Kwong San notices Wafiq's coolness towards Nadiah and thinks that it is because of what happened to her late brother Nasir. As their friendship blossoms, Meera helps Li Yan with some decorations for the TCH Singles Event night, much to Arjun's surprise and concern. Eddie, who is just fired from his part-time job, learns about a volunteer programme in Thailand, and Li Yan encourages him to go. Jay is mistaken as a participant at the Singles Night Event. As he escorts an attractive girl to a table, Diana watches with an uncomfortable feeling.

The Lims are wary about Peter Tay's return to KS Foods and while Bee Li reminds Kwong San not to let Peter Tay push him around, Peter Tay has already helped himself to Kwong San's office by setting up his own work station there. Meanwhile, Eddie happily prepares for his trip to Thailand while Michael's part-time job gets found out by his parents. Knowing that her parents will not approve the guy she is dating, Ann gets Arjun to play along as a ‘pretend date', but Arjun is not keen to get involved with this – he could get into hot soup with Ann's father Dr Krishna, who also happens to be his boss. But then again, Arjun thinks he could also benefit at work with this arrangement.

Acceding to Kwong San's wishes, Michael turns up at KS Foods to do a work attachment while waiting for his NS Call-Up and A-level results, but Xue Ling, under pressure from Peter Tay, sends him to work as a cleaner in the factory, leaving him shocked and Adam furious. Wafiq's and Kalila's lives are turned upside down with the arrival of Wafiq's mother Asmah, who is supposedly here to look after Kalila, while Arjun gets some lessons in career-advancement after a round of golf with the various Department Heads from the hospital.

More corporate woes for Michael as he is forced to attend the KS Foods company dinner while Uncle Chris the intern is forced to sit out of the function, much to his chagrin. More clashes between Kalila and her grandmother Asmah as they really do not see eye-to-eye on everything from shopping, eating to even the right thing to say to Melissa.

As things are not going well between Kalila and Asmah, Kalila pleads with Nadiah for help. Nadiah has no choice but to bring this matter up to Wafiq before Kalila moves in with Asmah. Adam is angry with Xue Ling for involving Michael in seeking information on Peter Tay through his estranged daughter Lauren, but Xue Ling is adamant she is doing it all for the future of KS Foods. Lauren nearly finds out the truth behind Michael's purpose of getting close to her, but Michael manages to cover his tracks in time. Meantime, a self-conscious Melissa starts to weigh herself and gets really upset with the result.

It is Christmas Eve but the Lims are in no festive mood when Melissa has a meltdown after she finds out that she has put on weight. More headache for Kwong San as Peter Tay presents a list of senior and loyal staff to be made redundant and insists the retrenchment exercise goes ahead. Kalila and Wafiq enjoy a much needed father-daughter bonding time after the nightmare with Asmah.

Kwong San tries to bring up the topic of his will again but Bee Li gets upset – she does not understand why he must talk about this ‘inauspicious stuff', at least to her, right on Christmas day. Melissa gets discharged from the hospital but things do not get any easier for Xue Ling and Adam as the week's pent-up frustrations result in a big argument between both of them. Meantime, Arjun is stuck in TCH after going along with another of Ann's fake dates. To kill time, he hangs up with Chris and both of them bond over a game of darts.

Unresolved tension between Adam and Xue Ling cast a shadow over Boxing Day. After deducing that Melissa's anorexia could be due to deeper psychological issues, Xue Ling makes a decision to have a therapist work with her. However, this was met with objection from Adam for fearing that Melissa's psychological issue could be traced to his late mother's mental illness. Meanwhile, Salmah is concerned that Nadiah and Wafiq are spending too much time with each other at work. She worries there might be something going on between them as she does not really approve of Wafiq's divorcee status. Wrecked with guilt from his one-night stand, Christopher over-reacts and confronts Suzanne over photos of her posing with male clubbers on Facebook, deepening the rift between them.

Despite Adam's objection, Xue Ling engages a therapist to help Melissa with her anorexia. Meanwhile, Adam bonds with Christopher over MMA and regaling stories about their late mother, but the Tong siblings sharing session turns sour when Ben brings up their late mother's mental history, culminating to a near scuffle between Adam and Ben. Over at the Bhaskars, Shruti is perplexed over the drop in the attendance for her birthday party as the days draw closer. Suzanne is still stung over her fallout with Christopher, but a talk with Felicia makes her realize there is more that meets the eye with Chris' unhappiness over her Hong Kong partying photos.

Competition heats up between Shruti and Lauren as they pull out all stops to entice people to come to their parties. Suspecting that she is the cause of the rift between Christopher and her, Felicia comes clean with Suzanne. However, Suzanne brushes it off as a one-sided crush by Felicia. Acting on her suspicion that Christopher is guilty about Felicia, Suzanne rallies Diana to confront him together, but tension between Diana and Jay mounts when Christopher tries to deflect his guilt by outing Jay's secret liking for Diana. Things end badly with Christopher's admission of his one-night stand

It is New Year's Eve and the Tongs gear up for a party at their shop house. It is also Shruti's 18th birthday and she has a tough time telling a stubborn Bhaskar she wants to have a parent-free party. The tension between Jay and Diana continues to simmer and it is only a matter of time before one of them lets their true feelings surface. Michael is obliged to attend Lauren's party but is bailed out when her house suffers a blackout.

It is New Year's Day. Lauren invites herself over to Michael's house when he lets on that Peter Tay is there. Lauren's reunion and relationship with her estranged father piques Kwong San's curiosity. He suspects that Lauren is trying to reunite with Peter Tay because of his wealth. Jay, after being left in limbo by Diana on New Year's Eve, is desperate to get an answer from her but she keeps avoiding him. Norleena invites Leha and Kassim over to get Sulaiman to fill in the blanks on his unhappy past.

Michael makes a mistake at the KS Foods factory and he fears he will incur the wrath of Kwong San. Fortunately, the kind factory supervisor Uncle Vijesh covers for him. Lauren looks for Peter Tay at the office under the guise of wanting to know him better, but there is more that meets the eyes amid the father-daughter bonding. Chris, alone in the office with Suzanne, seizes the chance to make up with Suzanne but she continues to ignore him.

Michael struggles to put forth his case about KS Foods' succession plan, but after he accidentally plunges the company into a perilous situation, he finds his moral courage and makes a stand. Diana and Jay's relationship finally begins to find its feet, but the path is rocky, and looks increasingly like a dead end. On the other hand, Chris and Suzanne's relationship reaches a new low, as Suzanne struggles with heartbreak from the fallout, and her feelings for Chris

Ben goes to TCH and discovers that Jay is not there. A search into his room reveals that he has moved out, and this leaves the Tongs stunned and puzzled by his disappearance. Lauren's ruse finally falls through, with Peter Tay deviously manipulating her and her stepfather Colin. After his misstep at the KS Foods factory, Michael is transferred to work at the office so that Kwong San and Xue Ling can keep a close watch on him. Meanwhile, Arjun and Ann's fake relationship has crossed new and dangerous boundaries, with Arjun now worried about damaging his mother's hopes when the eventual break-up occurs.

Arjun has to perform an operation on a patient who is friends with Salmah, but he proves to be extremely difficult to handle. Bhaskar helps out, but it backfires badly when Arjun thinks that Bhaskar is undermining him. Michael is stunned to find out that Mark and Randall have pushed Lauren into trying those ADHD pills before, while Li Yan and the other members of the Tanglin Ladies Circle agree to form an exercise group and keep fit. A worried Diana, meanwhile, thinks that Jay left because of her. She tries her best to hide her guilt

Arjun and Bhaskar reconcile, and he confesses to his father that he doubts his abilities as a doctor. Meanwhile, Michael confronts Randall and Mark about their drug related habits. The Tanglin Ladies' Circle holds their first exercise class, and things break down quickly between Salmah and Bee Li when Salmah accuses Bee Li of hurting Li Yan intentionally.

Eddie returns from his volunteering stint in Thailand and starts his pranks all over again, only to have a couple of stunts falling flat right in front of him. While in the neighbourhood, Norleena runs into Hassan, and the latter manages to coax Norleena into having coffee with him for some catching-up sessions. Drugs and alcohol get the better of Randall when he meets with a mishap at his own pool party.

Michael and Lauren decide to make a police report about Mark being the supplier of the ADHD Pills when Randall's injury is more serious than they thought. Hassan is upset when he finds out that Salmah was rude to his wife Atiqah during the latter's pre-employment medical check-up at the clinic. He seeks Sulaiman out to address the issue, only to get more rebuffs from Sulaiman. Wafiq, meanwhile, reluctantly helps Salmah to look for potential husband for Nadiah after he was coerced by her to do so. Over at TCH, Zul shocks everyone when he hands over a large sum of money to Juliana, the girl he just met online.

Zul gets jittery when he cannot get in touch with Juliana, and Salmah is not helping when she keeps telling him that Juliana might have absconded with his hard-earned money. Wafiq continues to be frustrated by Salmah's requests and questions regarding potential husbands for Nadiah. Atiqah tells Sulaiman off over his ‘ridiculous' request that Hassan and her stay out of the Tanglin neighbourhood.

Zul is morose as he regrets the way things have turned out with Juliana, and a guilt-stricken Salmah decides to help to reconcile the duo. Nadiah has a tough time handling the retrenchment consultation sessions with irate staff who feels that they have been betrayed by the company, and Kwong San and Xue Ling have a crisis on their hands when they learn that some of the retrenched employees have gone to the press, and this might generate negative publicity for the company. However, Peter Tay tells them he has an idea to fend off the bad publicity. Arjun is introduced to an aesthetic doctor and his interest in that business is piqued when the doctor exalts the perks of the aesthetic business.

Peter Tay hopes to put a positive spin on the company's retrenchment exercise in an interview with a journalist, but Lauren unexpectedly shows up at the interview. Arjun gets business advice from Chris and considers the prospect of opening his own aesthetics practice. Michael, meanwhile, wearies of the constant tension at home. He confides in Pam. Although Zul and Juliana finally make amends, their personality differences are starting to show. Mrs Pereira is disappointed to learn that Zul and Juliana appear to be pursuing a relationship

Kwong San and Xue Ling address the press leak and try to convince the board members that a retrenchment exercise is not necessary. However, Peter Tay has other ideas as he tries to convince the board that a golden handshake is vital to save the company. Arjun is feeling a little down after losing a patient in the operating room. Concerned for his son, Bhaskar tries to talk things out with him but nothing prepares him for the decision Arjun has made about his career. Xue Ling and Adam have a big argument when Adam feels that those therapist sessions are not helping Melissa. To make things worse, he brings Melissa for Chinese New Year shopping instead of going for a session, hence incurring the wrath of Xue Ling.

A frustrated Xue Ling joins Peter Tay for some wine and Adam is not too pleased to see her home drunk, and the tense atmosphere between them escalate to another full blown argument. Things are still icy between Chris and Suzanne and although Chris tries to make amends, Suzanne is cold and unwilling. When Chris confides in Arjun and Suzanne with Diana over this, both have different takes on the issue; Chris citing Suzanne is being difficult while Suzanne saying Chris hurt her too much to take it lightly. Meanwhile, Salmah sets Nadiah on a blind date and Nadiah is not too happy with it. To make things worse, Wafiq, Sulaiman and Norleena are caught in the crossfire

After spending a night at the Tongs', things are much clearer to Suzanne and she wants to give Chris another chance. However, upon seeing Chris' empty bed, the upset Suzanne starts to question if he might be outside cheating on her again. Meera tries to convince Salmah and Li Yan to go for another of Adam's exercise class but the women are hesitant after that incident where Bee Li caused Li Yan to sprain her ankle. Peter Tay calls up an emergency meeting at KS Foods with the staff as he is leaving for Japan and wants to make sure everything is in place before he leaves. He continues to question Kwong San about Jay's whereabouts and the talk of Jay's return is making Xue Ling uncomfortable. There are more surprises in store for Kwong San and her.

Jay shows up at the board meeting, throwing Kwong San and Xue Ling off. Knowing that Peter Tay is watching, Kwong San and Xue Ling play it cool, but Peter Tay has a bigger plan in mind to drive the wedge between the Lims. Ben's dating woes worsen when he unknowingly calls up a second date which happens to be Gina's friend. Chris, being officially dumped by Suzanne, pleads with Li Yan to help him persuade Suzanne not to give up on their relationship. However, Li Yan is reluctant to get involved.

Kwong San is angry with Bee Li and Xue Ling for keeping Jay's return to Singapore and staying with the Tongs a secret. He is even more furious with the Tongs for hiding Jay from him. Salmah irritates Nadiah with suggestions on how to prepare for her blind date. Norleena finds herself being tasked to spy on Nadiah during her date by Salmah, who is all too anxious to check out that guy. Li Yan, meanwhile, hatches a plan with Chris for him to reconcile with Suzanne. When the two finally meet, something unexpected happens, leaving Suzanne totally stunned.

After news about Jay is Jun Kai broke out, everyone forms their own opinions about the situation, and all is especially concerned for Diana. At KS Foods, Jay makes his presence felt. He gets all business-like, questioning the accounts and business decisions, causing Xue Ling and Kwong San to wonder at his motives. Meantime, drama unfolds when Eddie and Shruti discover Michael's ran away to Hong Kong. They hatch a plan to get Michael back without letting the adults know.

Panic breaks out when the adults discover Eddie and Shruti's plans to track Michael down in Hong Kong as Adam blames Xue Ling for Michael's decision to run away from home. Meanwhile in Hong Kong, Shruti and Eddie manage to find Michael but Michael does not want to go home. The truth is out after Arjun confesses to Bhaskar that Ann and him are on a fake date just to keep Ann's parents happy and cover up for her real date with Ryan the Surfer. Arjun promised he will find a way to end it but Bhaskar is concerned how that would impact Arjun's career.

Eddie, Shruti and Pam come up with an idea to keep Michael in Hong Kong Disneyland until Adam's arrival. But the plan backfires after Michael spots Adam and runs away again. When father and son finally reunite, things take a turn for the worse when Michael blows his tops at Adam. Hoping to mend things between Jay and Diana, Christopher and Suzanne arrange for them to meet and patch things up, but the meeting falls flat after Jay walks out on them.

Diana gets really angry with Chris and Suzanne for arranging that awkward lunch date with Jay. In Hong Kong, Adam finally reconciles with Michael with help from an unexpected source in Eddie, while Li Yan confronts a long-buried secret from her past after a meeting with a long-lost sister. Meanwhile, Pam and Shruti finally bury the hatchet and become friends. Diana, however, has no such luck as she struggles to cope after her ill-fated meeting with Jay.

Adam and Li Yan return to Singapore without Michael, much to Xue Ling's annoyance. When Adam reveals that he allowed Michael to go backpacking in China, Xue Ling hits the roof. More troubles at the Lims when Jay tries to have dinner with Kwong San and both end of having a big argument over Kwong San being controlling of his life. Chris and Suzanne, together with Sulaiman and Norleena try to set Ben up with a date with Gina. Arjun's relationship with Ann comes to a very abrupt and shocking end when Ann runs away from home, leaving a note saying that she has eloped with someone else

Suzanne is now unsure about getting engaged to Chris. The truth is that she still has not gotten over Chris' infidelity but Ben reassures her that everything will be fine. Nadiah has another blind date set up by Wafiq that leads to an unexpected consequence. She is beginning to question Wafiq's motive to set her up with those ‘strange' guys. Over at the Bhaskars, Arjun's fake relationship with Ann comes to a head when Dr Krishna shows up at his house unannounced with photos of Ann and Ryan and demands answers. Things get worse for Arjun when Ann admits to the fake dating.

The fallout from Arjun's phoney relationship with Ann continues as Bhaskar suffers the silent treatment from Meera while Krishna finds fault with Arjun at work. Kwong San is on the warpath when he learns that Jay told Wafiq about his heart attack. He worries that he will lose the control and confidence of the directors and staff if news of his illness leaks. Still mulling over what Juliana said about having her own children, Zul and Mrs Pereira start to bond over the parental issue of having children.

Still unhappy with Arjun's decision to open an aesthetics clinic, the cold war between Arjun and Bhaskar escalates. A major showdown looms when Kwong San springs a surprise on everyone by inviting the Tongs over to his house for dinner on the pretext that they are celebrating Adam's birthday, but he has something up his sleeves as he prepares to make an announcement that will shock everyone. Meantime, Ah Biao is panicky when his envelope of new notes for Chinese New Year goes missing. As Ben and Diana help look for it, Diana realizes that Ah Biao could be starting to lose his memory. Ben snubs Gina when she shows up at TCH to meet a client but when the client gets physical with Gina, Ben decides to step in to help her.

fter two failed attempts, Salmah bugs Wafiq to set Nadiah up on a third date with one of his friends. To help Nadiah get around it, Wafiq hatches a plan. Pam and Shruti are starting to find the extended holiday break boring, and they set out to find some part-time work. Jay, hoping to regain his father's trust, finally comes clean with Kwong San about why he chose to come back to KS Foods while Xue Ling finds out more about Jay's life in the US from Shelia.

Ben and Gina are meant to have a date but Gina offers to take Ben to see a doctor instead as his sprain has not healed. Nadiah goes for her ‘arranged' date but unknown to Salmah, she has lunch with Wafiq. Shruti is planning to apply for a job at the Digital Media Agency but she is afraid to offend Pam in case she gets the job. Her worries, however, are unfounded when Pam is supportive of her job hunt. Kwong San, meanwhile, has decided to give Jay bigger responsibilities in KS Foods, and Xue Ling is starting to feel threatened.

Tension between Adam and Xue Ling worsens with little things grating them, culminating to a huge fight over at the Tongs during reunion dinner. After hearing Li Yan's little insight on Adam, Xue Ling seeks out Adam to make peace and agrees to give him the space that he needs. Salmah tries to find out Nadiah's third mystery date and is disappointed to be told by Nadiah that the date did not turn up. Based on the deal struck between Nadiah and Salmah, Salmah cannot introduce any more guys to her. Meanwhile, Jay brings Sheila over to the Lims for reunion dinner. Over dinner, Sheila wins over Kwong San with her business savviness.

It is the Lunar New Year and the Lims and Tongs celebrate. Over at the Rahmans, Norleena observes the interaction between Nadiah and Wafiq and let Sulaiman on about the possible romance between them. Despite his initial scepticism, Sulaiman confirms it when he sees that Nadiah and Wafiq are really comfortable with each other. Sheila, meanwhile, makes a nice impression on everyone except Bee Li, who is sceptical about her because she dumped Jay before. Kwong San, on the other hand, is even more impressed with Sheila when she seeks business advice from him. Eddie, desperate for a job, applies to be a relief teacher at Tanglin JC after intercepting the application forms that Mrs Pereira had given to Zul for Michael.

When Norleena implies that Wafiq and Nadiah may have feelings for one another, it is met with strong disapproval from Salmah, who deems a divorced, single father to be unsuitable for Nadiah. This makes Nadiah ponder if she really might have feelings for Wafiq after how Salmah reacted. Jay's involvement in the family business puts a damper on Xue Ling's morale. She begins to wonder if all the years she had worked in KS Foods would go to waste if her brother takes over and throws her into the sidelines. Chris, meanwhile, is excited about his back-up plan in the form of going into a business venture with Arjun in case the permanent job at KS Foods never materializes, but Diana's sceptical about the whole thing

Eddie goes for the trial session for the relief PE teacher job. However, he gets a reality check when he discovers that Mrs Pereira had Michael in mind for the job instead. During the trial, Mrs Pereira is hovering over him and nit-picking, Eddie is determined to prove her wrong and get the job. Facing a dead-end in search for funding for his aesthetic clinic venture with Arjun, Chris tries his luck with Meera in hope that she will invest in the business. Meera seems to go along with it but she has other ideas. When Jay comes up with a suggestion to change their core ingredients supplier in an effort to cut down costs, he is met with overwhelming disapproval from Xue Ling and Wafiq as it would ruin a long, working relationship. However, Jay is determined to get his way and Kwong San gives him the go ahead as long as the move benefits KS Foods.

Eddie is late for his first day of work as a relief teacher in Tanglin JC. His troubles do not end there as he also gets a harsh lesson-cum-reality check on handling those students who, not so long ago, were his schoolmates. The presence of Sheila continues to threaten Xue Ling and it all comes to a head when Kwong San hints to Jay that Sheila and him should start planning to get hitched. At the Bhaskars, Shruti's part-time job as a personal shopper is met by strong objection from Meera, who thinks the job title is just a classy name for a salesgirl.

It is Valentine's Day, and Bee Li tries to get Kwong San out of the house for a romantic stroll. After much persuasion, Kwong San agrees but to add to Bee Li's frustration, he invites Sheila and Jay along. Shruti, meantime, starts her first day of work as a personal shopper, but will she be able to survive under her tyrant of a boss? While TCH organises a singles event for Valentine's Day, Norleena uses the event as a way for Nadiah and Wafiq to spend some time together. However, Salmah smells a rat and starts spying on them. Over at the Lims, Kwong San is excited about the prospect of Jay proposing to Sheila, but little does Kwong San know that the relationship between them is not what it seems.

Chris' excitement at being made full-time staff is cut short when Nadiah asks him for a copy of his university transcript. He asks Suzanne for help to fake a transcript, but she is swamped with work and meetings. At the last resort, Chris tries to sweet-talk Felicia to cover for him. Eddie finds it hard going trying to get the FAN Club students to follow his instructions with Lauren pushes his buttons, sorely testing his patience. Nadiah and Salmah's cold war over Wafiq continues while Shruti gets accused of stealing the limited edition necklace from the boutique

When Felicia realizes that Chris has been manipulating her, she is devastated. Desperate to win her back to his side so that she will not tell on him, Chris shows up at her home and begs for forgiveness. However, her protective father is there to thwart him. Eddie uses Encik Chua's name to scare the students into cooperation but Lauren is not fooled. Encik Chua tells him he has to get tough on her or he will lose control of the class. Zul's relationship with Juliana seems to be going smoothly but for some reasons, he is troubled by their age difference and something else he cannot quite pinpoint.

Norleena signs up for antenatal classes for first-time mothers at the hospital but Salmah, having raised her children based on traditional methods, is not really keen on those Western ways, nor those ‘modern' baby care gadgets that the excited parents-to-be bought. At work, Chris struggles with the consequences of misleading Felicia as Suzanne pushes on with plans for them to apply for their own BTO flat. At school, Lauren plots to get back at Eddie for humiliating her in class the previous week, while Eddie thinks he has taught Lauren a lesson when he catches her paying another student to do her homework. But to Eddie's surprise, Mrs Pereira comes confronting him with a grave accusation.

The Tongs, together with Shruti and Pam, rally behind Eddie after Lauren accused him of molesting her. Norleena has a health scare and on the advice of Bhaskar's advice, goes for a checkup with her gynaecologist as a panicky Sulaiman freaks out. At KS Foods, Peter Tay assigns Xue Ling to work with him on a new marketing plan, much to her surprise, while Adam meets with a potential landlord on Chris' recommendation as he continues to look for a permanent space to run his MMA classes.

Sulaiman and Norleena are conflicted about what to do now that they know about Vanessa's pregnancy and whether they should tell Ben or not, but a chance meeting with Vanessa at Norleena's first antenatal class changes their take on the situation. Xue Ling and Adam's constant arguing spills over to their family when they both forgot to attend Melissa's school's Sports Day, much to Melissa's disappointment. Meantime, Meera helps out at Bhaskar's clinic while Norleena takes some time off.

Old wounds from Diana's and Arjun's break up are reopened when Li Yan finds out that it was Meera who told Diana to leave Arjun. Ben and Gina go on a mani-pedi double date with Sulaiman and Norleena, who are uneasy throughout the session when they thought that Ben was already aware of Vanessa's pregnancy. Over at the Rahmans, Nadiah teaches Wafiq how to cook, and Salmah is furious when she learns about that arrangement.

Adam has his suspicion that Xue Ling is behind the ‘too-good-to-be-true' rental deal for the new MMA gym. He confronts Chris about it and under pressure, Chris blurts out that it is indeed Xue Ling's arrangement and Adam makes things worse by questioning Xue Ling at the office in front of everyone. Meera, still helping out at the clinic, continues to disrupt operations much to Bhaskar's frustration. He knows he cannot make the hard decision to fire her so he devised a plan to get Norleena back to work. And as part of his grand plans to prove that Xue Ling is the better choice to run KS Foods, Jay messes up a meeting with a long-term supplier but Peter Tay sees through the scheme.

The investigation into Lauren's allegations that Eddie molested her is completed as Ah Biao and Zul plead with Mrs Pereira on about Eddie's innocence, but Mrs Pereira is sticking by the rules on this one. The fallout between Xue Ling and Adam continues. They are not on speaking terms anymore, resulting in her unintentionally seeking solace from Peter Tay and divulging more personal information than she should. Chris is still determined to see through the aesthetic clinic plan and his enthusiasm seems to have rubbed onto Arjun.

Xue Ling is feeling the pressure from her strained relationship with Adam and work, only for Peter Tay to offer some support. Meantime, Nadiah's and Wafiq's deepening relationship meets with even stronger disapproval from Zul and Salmah. At school, Eddie forms a friendship with his student Hakim, and in turn, Hakim helps Eddie pulls a stunt on the troublemaker Lauren to get back at her. While at TCH, Diana and Arjun bond over the unlikeliest situation – giving tuition to a needy child.

Zul confronts Wafiq and Kwong San with a dark buried secret from their past, which forces Wafiq break things off with Nadiah. In school, Eddie and Hakim start to bond further when they engage in a prank war at school and at TCH. A resolute Christopher targets a potential investor for Arjun's future aesthetic clinic, and this person happens to be a good friend of Meera

Hakim's prank by stealing Atiqah's inhaler nearly turn fatal when Atiqah has an asthma attack at that moment. Fortunately, Suzanne was there to offer a spare inhaler. Nadiah thinks that Salmah was the driving force behind Wafiq's decision to break off with her, but Kwong San's shifty action when he is around her makes Nadiah think otherwise. Li Yan finds out about Vanessa's return but she decides to keep the news of Vanessa's pregnancy from Ben.

Eddie, while concerned about Hakim for pulling that inhaler prank on Atiqah, is determined to set Hakim the right path. However, Hakim proves to be a tough challenge for him when he damages Diana's van tyres in a fit of anger. Li Yan, meanwhile, is worried that Vanessa will make things difficult for Ben like before. She arranges to meet up with Vanessa to talk about her baby, her plans and having a future with Ben. Meantime, to keep the act going, Chris arranges for a dinner date with Felicia and it is making Suzanne all uncomfortable

It is A-Level results day and there is tension and high expectations for the likes of Michael, Shruti, Eddie and Pam. Eddie surprised everyone with better than expected results but Michael's results are not that great as expected. Ben is knocked out by the return of a pregnant Vanessa. To make matters worse, he feels betrayed that everyone knew of her pregnancy before he did. More revelations to come when Li Yan tells Salmah about a big secret she has been harbouring for years.

Sulaiman is torn between applying for a university course in either Engineering or Sports Science. The application process is not helped by Norleena's meddling and Salmah's advice. Meantime, Ben struggles to tell Gina that Vanessa is back and carrying his baby. To make matters worse for Ben, Li Yan forces him to take a more active role in shepherding Vanessa through her pregnancy, something that he is not really keen on, as the whole issue had taken him by surprise.

Sulaiman's attempts to write a personal statement on why he thinks he is suitable for sports science continues hitting a roadblock in the shape of Norleena. More on Vanessa's pregnancy saga when Ben incurs the wrath of Li Yan after he refuses to believe he is the father of Vanessa's child when he sees a recent photo of Vanessa with her ex-boyfriend. Meantime, Pam is caught shoplifting and Shruti is forced to come to her rescue

Li Yan's unresolved feelings over her illegitimate daughter with Bhaskar lead to a big bust up with Ben who refuses to be more supportive of a vulnerable Vanessa. Pam comes over to stay at the Bhaskars when she got kicked out from her home, and her presence in the household leads to an embarrassing situation when she catches Arjun's with his pants down in the toilet. Over at KS Foods, Chris and Felicia flirt a little too openly for Suzanne's liking.

Ben is conflicted whether he should tell Gina about Vanessa. After mustering up much courage to speak to Vanessa about this issue, he panics when Gina shows up at TCH at the same time. Things start to look really tricky when Gina introduces herself to Vanessa and both girls start to get friendly with each other. Chris feels the pressure when both Felicia and Suzanne compete for his attention. Things come to a head when Suzanne accuses Felicia of sabotaging her work. Meanwhile, Salmah encourages Li Yan to look for the daughter she gave up for adoption years back.

After boasting to Arjun that he can come up with the killer aesthetic business proposal to impress their potential investors, Chris pleads with Suzanne to help him with it but she refuses and warns him to stop flirting with Felicia. Bhaskar is furious with Arjun for exploring the aesthetics business with Nadine behind his back, and the defiant Arjun makes things worst. Li Yan, meantime, is quietly making plans for a trip to Hong Kong, but when Ben finds out about the trip and starts questioning Li Yan, Salmah jumps to her rescue.

Without giving too much away, Li Yan announces her decision to leave for Hong Kong that same day, and no one knows that she is there to find her long lost daughter except for Salmah. The Lims are still sore over Michael's dismal A-level result. Feeling bad and eager to please, Michael agrees to try his best to make it for Officer Cadet School when he gets enlisted to National Service. Meanwhile, competition arises between Felicia and Suzanne as they try to outdo each other to gain Chris' favour. Little did they realise that they have been played by Chris. Tension between Arjun and Bhaskar over the aesthetic clinic venture continues to simmer.

Despite her efforts to be on her best behaviour, Pam's extended stay with the Bhaskars has taken a toll on her relationship with Shruti. Meera offers to let Pam stay on longer after meeting Pam's difficult mother, but Pam declines the kind offer and leaves. When Michael made a blunder at KS Foods and was reprimanded by Xue Ling, Peter Tay steps in to help. However, Peter Tay intentionally lets slip of Xue Ling's past secrets to Michael instead. Adam gets upset when Xue Ling suggests Michael to take the SAT for a shot at a good college in US. He thinks that she is up to her controlling ways again and a quarrel ensures. Michael's attempt to mediate and stop the argument makes it worse when he blurts out about Xue Ling's past secret.

With Adam's absence, Xue Ling has no choice but to admit to her parents about her tiff with Adam. Both Bee Li and Kwong San are concerned as Bee Li urges Xue Ling to settle any differences with Adam. Over at KS Foods, Jay signs off a work process without consulting Kwong San, leaving Kwong San fuming and a sense of not being in control. Tension arises between Shruti and Pam when Shruti becomes jealous of Pam's closeness with Meera. Meanwhile, Xue Ling confronts Peter Tay for divulging her planned pregnancy. Peter makes it up to her by sending her home only to bump into Adam. Driven to jealousy and provoked by Peter, Adam punches Peter and is kicked out of the house by Xue Ling.

Adam spends another night at the Tongs but he is starting to feel out of place there, as the rest of the family are concerned about what happened between Xue Ling and him. Jay's plans to make Kwong San lose confidence in him backfires when Kwong San puts more of Xue Ling's responsibilities in his hands. Meanwhile, Wafiq is devastated when Yasmine announces her decision to remarry and wants Kalila to join her and her new husband in Nepal.

Misunderstanding between the siblings as Melissa thinks that Michael's poor A-Level result is the main cause of the constant argument between Xue Ling and Adam, but Michael thinks it is her eating disorder that started it all. With fear that Wafiq could actually send her to live with her mother Yasmine and her new husband, Kalila tries to get into Wafiq's good books by being the good and obedient daughter. Over at the Lims, Kwong San and Bee Li are not happy that Adam and Melissa are staying with the Tongs. They want Xue Ling to get them to come back home. Xue Ling manages to convince Melissa but Adam is adamant to stay put.

After Melissa and Adam fail to return home, Kwong San takes it out on Xue Ling, chiding her for not making her marriage and family a priority. He goes one step further and gets Xue Ling to hand over all the work stuff to Jay. As part of his elaborate plan to break up Xue Ling and Adam, Peter Tay introduces a divorce lawyer to Xue Ling. Nadiah thinks the reason why Wafiq broke up with her is because of Yasmine, and a guilty conscious Wafiq is somewhat ‘happy' that Nadiah feels that way.

After learning of Xue Ling's resignation from KS Foods, Peter Tay pays her a visit at home and gets her out of the house to have some fun on the pretext of helping her to relax, while over at KS Foods, a fuming Kwong San cancels a meeting because he could not get in touch with Peter Tay. Nadiah continues pressing Wafiq for the reason why he broke up with her, but Wafiq is still not telling. More troubles ahead for Xue Ling and Adam when Adam comes across the name card of the divorce lawyer in Melissa's schoolbag.

Adam and Melissa start to get used to living with the Tongs as Ah Biao attempts to convince Adam to work things out with Xue Ling, but his advice falls on deaf ears. Meanwhile, a devastated Xue Ling thinks that Adam is really having an affair when she spots a photo of Adam and Kelly in Adam's phone. She ends up confiding in Peter Tay about her and Adam's relationship woes. Wafiq decides to quit his job because of Nadiah, much to Kwong San's shock and disappointment.

As Xue Ling reels from the guilt of her actions, Adam makes things worse for her by making an effort to save the marriage and promising to be always faithful to her. Nadiah is shocked when she learns of Wafiq's resignation from KS Foods, but when she asks Kwong San, he reveals nothing to her about Wafiq's reasons for leaving. Lauren shows Peter Tay the photo of a teenage Xue Ling she got from his wallet and forces him to reveal what happened to them in the past. The wistful Peter Tay starts to pour his heart out to her.

Kalila notices how Wafiq is affected by his breakup with Nadiah and decides to intervene by trying to persuade Salmah to accept her father. Xue Ling ponders about what she should do as she is conflicted about Adam wanting to return home and Peter wanting her to be with him. Meantime, Chris gets into deeper trouble when Felicia's father Chin Huat spots Suzanne and him holding hands and behaving like a couple. While the relationship between Peter Tay and Lauren warms, Lauren finds out more about Adam's and Xue Ling's past from Michael.

Xue Ling tries to ignore Peter Tay who keeps hounding her to get together with him after their one night of passion the week before. Kwong San then decides to give Xue Ling an ultimatum to solve this issue with Peter Tay once and for all for the sake of her marriage. Felicia starts to get cold towards Chris when she finds out that he is still seeing Suzanne. Feeling uneasy about this, Chris tries to pacify her, ends up kissing her and is caught red-handed by Suzanne, who refuses to believe Chris' lies anymore. After a big fight with Peter Tay, Lauren takes his car for a spin, bringing Michael along with her. Without a valid driving license coupled with some daredevil driving, the joy ride ends abruptly when Lauren crashes the car.

In the aftermath of the car accident, Lauren panics when she realizes that Michael is unconscious and unresponsive. Scared, she calls up Peter Tay, who gives her instructions on what to do next. When the Lims finally finds out what happened to Michael, the devastated Xue Ling and Adam lash out at Peter Tay, blaming Lauren for the accident. The mood, meanwhile, is light over at the Rahmans as Salmah bonds with Wafiq over a cooking and eating session. Chris lands himself in hot soup when Ben finds out about his fake degree and his forced resignation from KS Foods. The huge disappointment from the entire Tong family is evident as they had not expected Chris to mess up this way.

Michael's accident has left Kwong San much to reflect about what he did in his life. He decides it is time to right the wrongs as he makes a big confession to the Rahmans. Chris is taken away by the police for questioning regarding his fake degree, and Arjun reveals to Diana that he was not really interested in the aesthetic clinic venture in the very first place. Meantime, Xue Ling and the whole family continue keeping vigil at the hospital with hope that Michael would regain conscious.

With Michael still in comatose and seeing Adam so angry with Peter Tay, Xue Ling is wrecked with guilt over her affair with Peter, but Kwong San advises her against letting Adam know. As Chris goes missing, Arjun puts Diana straight for writing Chris off. Diana manages to locate Chris and convinces him to come home and admit everything to Li Yan, but the confession backfires and Li Yan is livid with the family for keeping the matter from her. Old wounds are opened when Norleena and Zul discuss about Nasir's death. However, Zul put things in perspective for Norleena. Meanwhile, things are looking up for the Lims when Michael finally wakes up from the coma
