Just as sworn enemies are fated to face off on a rope bridge, Cheok Hee and Jeong Woo meet again in the worst possible place, three years after the Dong Gu case. Now reunited at work, they snap and growl at each other. Jeong Woo sends a potential client for Choice Law Firm away, saying he cannot assist unless she has a suitable reason for divorce. Cheok Hee cannot stand this and, without Jeong Woo knowing, follows the client and prepares to collect evidence.

The must-see moment when Lee Hong Yeon’s husband’s extramarital affair is revealed! The scene is laid out just as expected, and she has firmly made up her mind to divorce. But, shocking everyone, he says the most surprising thing. Meanwhile, Cheok Hee has gone to court on an errand for Jeong Woo. She comes face to face with BF CEO In Jae, and whatever remaining pride she had left vanishes.

With her husband’s fifth affair under his belt, this client has vowed she will divorce him for certain this time. Cheok Hee hears the client has brought a crane to catch him with the other woman and implores Jeong Woo to hurry over by the subway. Jeong Woo gasps for breath in the station as soon as he sees the subway lights and falters.

While filing a consensual divorce application in court, Cheok Hee runs into In Jae and Hye Rin. She is shocked to learn that Jeong Woo was not the one who ratted her out to BF Law Firm, but she can’t bring herself to apologize to Jeong Woo. She remembers Yoo Mi saying, “Lawyer So likes you,” and recalls how many times Jung-woo quietly shielded her. She begins to see him in a different light.

Thanks to a client who wants to get a divorce over kissing, Cheok Hee and Jeong Woo grow awkward after an unforeseen accident. Jeong Woo meets the husband and suggests they each face their fears. Meanwhile, Soo Ah is contacted by someone who knows the woman who saved Jeong Woo’s life in the subway crash.

With Jeong Woo’s pleas to not go hanging over her head, Cheok Hee turns down Min Gyu and rushes to a client at the hospital. Cheok Hee suspects the wife of insurance fraud and searches for evidence, but Jeong Woo can’t help but feel conflicted. Meanwhile, the witness tells Soo Ah shocking information about who saved Jeong Woo, but Soo Ah cannot bear to convey that truth to Jeong Woo.

An outpouring of requests for divorce consultations comes in after “Animal Farm,” and Jeong Woo is retained by a client who had her limbs amputated following a medical accident in childbirth and whose husband now demands a divorce and child custody. Opposing counsel is BF’s In Jae. Min Gyu knows this and messes with Jeong Woo’s mind in front of Cheok Hee. Jeong Woo declares he will win, but worries lie ahead.

This client’s husband cheated with 30 other women and was dubbed the Korean Casanova. After the law on adultery was abolished, he brought his mistress home on dates and delighted in disrespecting his wife. Jeong Woo cannot hold his anger back when he dares to mess around with Cheok Hee. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman seeks Cheok Hee out, saying she’ll dish information about Han Mi Ri if she can get a divorce. That woman has a Don Varlas bag hanging from her shoulder.

Cheok Hee and Jeong Woo unintentionally end up taking a trip with the office and eagerly await some alone time. Cheok Hee learns of Jeong Woo’s birthday just in time and promises to cook him seaweed soup to make up for what happened three years ago. But the seaweed soup causes an unexpected situation that flusters everyone. Meanwhile, because of Cheok Hee, Min Gyu informs Ha Jung he will call off the engagement, but things don’t go as planned.

Furious and opposed to Jeong Woo’s relationship with Cheok Hee, Mi Hwa confesses that Soo Ah sold her house to pay for Jeong Woo’s law school tuition. Cheok Hee wants to apologize and goes to Mi Hwa’s restaurant without Jung-woo knowing, but she is prevented from entering before she can tell it all. Upon learning this, Jeong Woo rushes to the restaurant. Meanwhile, Soo Ah has been retained to represent the first husband of a North Korean defector.

Three meals a day, with 12 side dishes per set! A total of 43,800 meals over 40 years! Cheok Hee and Jeong Woo go to this faithful wife’s house to gather evidence of how she forcibly became a slave to her husband’s demands for excessive housework. They lose all hope when the husband scolds her over a feast fit for a king. Cheok Hee’s father gets news of Mi Hee from the police station. He dashes over when he runs into Min Gyu and ends up beholden.

Jeong Woo cannot bear to see Cheok Hee and Min Gyu together. He pays no mind to office gossip and won’t give up on winning her heart. Now finally, with the video of Han Mi Ri practically in her hands, Cheok Hee goes to meet Cha Yoo Ran. Later, Cheok Hee is dragged off as a suspect for assault while trying to help a client whose husband is an orthopedic doctor and knows how to beat his wife without leaving bruises or marks. Witness Jeong Woo is confounded.

Cheok Hee prepares herself to truly leave Choice Law Firm and Jeong Woo as the date of her license suspension approaches. Min Gyu announces to his father that he will break off the engagement with Ha Jung and excuses himself from the formal meeting of the bride and groom. Meanwhile, Jeong Woo learns that Min Gyu is preparing to propose.

Cheok Hee makes a fresh start with Blessing Law Firm but is then bewildered when Hye Rin, who ratted her out to BF Law Firm, retains her for divorce. Hye Rin’s husband hires Jeong Woo to represent him. The two lawyers are forced to agree to stop meeting each other during the lawsuit in order to keep things professional, but they need to see each other so badly that they resort to sign language.

Cheok Hee learns about the shocking relationship between Han Mi Ri and Jo Yoo Sang and begins to piece together the truth behind Dong Gu’s suicide. In Jae receives a legal complaint from the DK Group and must return an immense sum of money, so he takes ownership of everything Min Gyu has. Meanwhile, Soo Ah seeks Cheok Hee out to broach the topic of the subway crash.

From the wedding dress to the wedding hall, Jung Woo is full of fantasies about the nuptials, but he soon butts heads with Cheok Hee and finds that the process of getting them down the aisle is not exactly easy. Drawing on her experience with divorcing couples, Cheok Hee drafts a prenuptial agreement. At first, Jung Woo reads it and finds it absurd. Meanwhile, Ma Dong Mi is filled with anger when she learns about Han Mi Ri’s past and swears to take her down.

After suddenly disappearing on the day of Woo Ram’s bone marrow transplant, Jo Yoo Sang demands something unconscionable of Cheok Hee. Han Mi Ri reveals the tangled web of truth behind Ma Dong Gu’s death. Meanwhile, divorce lawyers Cheok Hee and Jung Woo announce a new partnership in addition to their love affair.
