Six passionate fans prepare for the debut of Wizard World in Portland, Ore., in the series premiere of this reality show chronicling comic-book superfans who attend conventions dressed in costumes.
The competitors head off to Emerald City Comicon in Seattle.
The next stop on the cosplay tour is Megacon in Florida. While the contestants prepare new costumes and Holly deals with the aftermath of her first competition, Yaya creates a collectible action figure of herself.
As the cosplayers prepare for Anime Matsuri in Houston, Victoria goes OCD over her new costume's details after deciding to cosplay together with Monika. Holly and Jessica are back together and look for a gimmick to capture the anime crowd. And Yaya returns from Denmark for a photo shoot for her calendar, but collapses halfway through when her corset is too tight.
It's off to Kansas City and Yaya comes out of four years of cosplay retirement to team up with Monika and Riki in a group skit at Planet Comicon. Jessica and Holly take time off to throw a costume-themed barbeque, and work with Becky to come up with a dragon theme for their group skit at Comicon. In Portland, Jesse recovers from back-to-back losses by choosing a pirate costume from Assassin's Creed IV.
In the conclusion of the two-part Season 1 finale, the cosplayers work together for the team competition at Planet Comicon in Kansas City. Who will emerge victorious…or Victoria? Let's find out.

A group of "Beauties" and a group of "Geeks" are paired up to compete as couples for a shared $250,000 and other prizes. Each beauty lives together in a room with her geek during the course of the competition. There are challenges shown each episode, one testing the beauties on a primarily academic subject, and another that has the geeks competing in a more popular/social realm. The winners of the challenges select two teams to compete against each other in a pure "quiz show" type question and answer session: the team with fewer correct answers gets eliminated.
