Dominguinhos tries, in vain, to prove to Charlô that he is not Otávio, but she insists on grabbing him to prevent him from escaping, right there in the middle of the Biennial. Roberta tells Vânia that she couldn't bear to be deceived in love again.

Charlô insists on telling Dominguinhos that he's not fooling anyone: everyone is certain that he is Otávio. Sadly, Leda comments to Ronaldo that her effort to sacrifice her femininity in favor of competence at work was in vain.

Because of his polite and calm reaction to Felipe's news about Ravello, Dominguinhos ends up convincing him that he is not Otávio. Ulisses tells Nando that he doesn't have the courage to tell Lucilene that he no longer likes her.

Charlô insists on inviting Dominguinhos to stay at the mansion, and he finally accepts. Roberta signs the promissory notes which, if not paid within 90 days, will make Felipe the owner of Ravello.

The kidnappers comment that everything went well and head towards the island. Charlô remains suspicious of Dominguinhos, who retires to sleep, deeply offended.

Juliana and Nando, very surprised, don't understand what happened or why they are on the island, while Juliana accuses the boy of kidnapping her. At the church, Roberta, very nervous, asks Kiko to go and find out from Ulisses what happened to Nando.

Charlô tries to comfort Roberta, who is distraught over Nando's supposed abandonment. Charlô and Dominguinhos tell Felipe that if Nando and Juliana ran away of their own accord, they will likely not be found.

Nando explains to Juliana that he went to rekindle the fire to protect her, but she throws him out and threatens him with a stick. Carolina advises Analu not to tell anyone about the kidnapping. Roberta goes to the office and asks Vânia to have Nando's posters removed.

Charlô contacts the lawyer to initiate the legal proceedings, and Dominguinhos says he will do everything to help his cousin. Felipe tells Carolina that Ronaldo will be the vice-president and that, after the wedding, she will have to stay home taking care of her husband and the house.

Nando and Juliana give in to their passion. Carolina gets very angry about Frô's gossip and calls her father to find out if Roberta was absent from the factory the previous day.

Roberta, very shocked, hears Moisés talking about Nenê and Veruska's visit and asks for more clarification about the diamond matter. Dino kisses Semíramis to provoke Nieta, who becomes furious.

Nando and Juliana are bombarded with questions by everyone in the mansion, and then announce that they are getting married. Kiko arrives at Semíramis's house looking for the diamond.

After sending Nando away, Roberta, crying, hears the young man tell her that he didn't run away, but was kidnapped. Juliana, at the club's pool, tells Fábio that she's going to marry Nando.

Charlô, feeling insecure, tells Dominguinhos that she can't get emotionally involved right now. Nando, feeling very guilty, hugs Roberta, who cries inconsolably as she realizes she has lost the great love of her life.

Felipe, deeply distraught, is unable to stop Juliana from chasing after Nando. Upon seeing Charlô being kissed by Zenon, Dominguinhos retreats to the library, where he quietly cries.

Juliana, embarrassed, hears from Roberta that she wishes the couple much happiness. While asking Nieta to alter a dress for Nando's wedding, Frô discovers the diamond in her neighbor's sewing box.

Juliana walks alone down the aisle until she meets Nando. Roberta tells Kiko that she won't go to the wedding so as not to embarrass Nando. Dominguinhos surprises Zenon and Olívia by preparing a trick to expose him.

Nando and Juliana end up arguing because they disagree about where to live. Zenon tries to get Dominguinhos to drink the special cocktail, but the Portuguese man swaps his glass for Zenon's.

Carolina confesses to Nieta that she betrayed Roberta. Montanha thanks Semíramis for her attention at the wedding party. Felipe is upset when Vânia comments that no one will be able to get Nando out of Roberta's head.

Roberta, very embarrassed, tells Nando that she needs his help with a matter involving two billion cruzeiros. Ulisses, approached by Carolina at the boxing gym, is very surprised to learn that this time the young woman is truly suffering.

While Dino starts talking to Felipe, Juliana arrives and tells her father that Nando is cheating on her with Roberta. Nando comments to Ulisses that he treated Roberta well because he likes her very much.

Manoela explains to Fábio, who is completely shocked, how she escaped the car accident and says she wants Ciça to know that her mother didn't die.

Felipe is shocked to learn that Carolina sabotaged the Ravello fashion show. With Nando and Juliana arriving at the apartment, Veruska and Nenê hide under the bed.

Dominguinhos speaks to Charlô without an accent and offers to impersonate Otávio to favor her in the trial. Felipe doesn't accept Carolina's explanations and sends her away from the store.

Juliana tries to make Nando jealous through Fábio, who goes to their apartment and tells him that Manoela is alive. Vânia tells Ulisses that she doesn't want to get married, even though she likes him.

Juliana gets annoyed by Nando's satisfied expression when he sees Roberta. Felipe absolutely refuses the Christmas present that Carolina bought for him.

Roberta is surprised when Felipe kisses her. Charlô doubts Dominguinhos' identity again after he kisses her in the mansion's library. Roberta and Felipe admit they think of Nando and Carolina when they kiss.

After Otávio arrives at the courthouse, the judge calls for a ten-minute recess. Ulisses tells Nando that he seems to still be in love with Roberta.

After regaining consciousness, Charlô drags Dominguinhos out of the hotel. Roberta asks Nando to leave and not look for her anymore. Ronaldo proposes to Frô at the store's diner.

Felipe accepts Roberta's invitation to dinner. Despite Ismael's statement that Dominguinhos left the mansion and took a taxi, Charlô doesn't believe that Otávio and the Portuguese man are two different people.

Otávio threatens Veruska with death if she doesn't help him get the diamond. After a very violent fight, Nando leaves home without heeding Juliana's pleas. Nenê takes Leda to a secluded place and kisses her passionately.

When Nando takes the initiative and goes after Veruska, she activates the gun, which releases a sleeping gas. Nenê's car won't start until everyone is very close, at which point it starts and speeds away, followed by Felipe and the rest of the gang.

Roberta gives Otávio the diamond, thus settling Ravello's debt. When Nenê is visited by Nieta in prison, he asks his sister to bring a pocketknife inside a cake on her next visit.

Charlô and Olívia are shocked to see that Otávio and Nando work in a circus. The surprise is even greater when the master of ceremonies announces the clowns Bimbo and Nandinho.

Nando, very unhappy, confirms that he loves Roberta and tells Juliana that they have to separate. Vânia tries to convince Ulisses that the ideal bride for him is Lucilene.

Charlô and Otávio kiss passionately, and he asks his cousin not to talk about Dominguinhos anymore. Roberta and Kiko leave for New York. Charlô and Otávio, very moved, finally get married.

Charlô and Otávio imagine that the presence of the notary, Dominguinhos, and Altamiranda is a nightmare. Nando leaves without speaking to Roberta after seeing her kiss Felipe.
