Laila, a student, is drugged and assaulted by Worboys. Despite CCTV, she appears to be dismissed by police and her case is dropped. Eventually, police spot a disturbing pattern.
After a police appeal, Worboys is eventually caught and convicted. Carrie waives her anonymity. Sarah and Laila, whose lives have been turned upside down, decide to sue the police.
Sarah and Laila win their case against the Met. As they rebuild their lives, Worboys is granted parole. Joined by Carrie, they must now campaign to keep him in prison.
