Dr. Ghita lives with her husband, Dr. Anas, and her sister Sofia works in production. Amal visits Ghita at her home, where their children meet, and Ghita’s father becomes ill and undergoes surgery.
Ghita takes her patient, Zainab, who was abandoned by her husband, to her home to recover, while Zainab tries to attract Anas’ attention. Amal suffers from her mother-in-law’s interference in her life.
The maid, Hayat, confesses to Ghita that she is pregnant. Ghita becomes angry when she learns of Hayat's poor financial situation. As Zainab returns to her home, her problems with her husband return because of her doubts about him.
Abdel Al Hay dies after failed surgery, then Amina discovers that he was married to another woman. Abdel Malek tries to get close to Amina, and Amal's mother-in-law, Shamah, goes to live with her and decides to work with Sofia and Tariq in their new company.
Ghita takes Zainab to the women's charitable organization where Amin works to ask him to help her. Sofia is angry about her father's cheating on her mother and refuses to marry Tariq. Amal suffers from the presence of her mother-in-law and her daughter's recklessness.
Zainab tries to get closer to Anas after she returns to live in his house with Ghita. Sofia returns to Tariq, and Omar asks Amal to forgive him, return home and take care of their children, especially the teenager Aya.
Amal discovers that her daughter has stolen money, so she decides to return to her home. Hayat lives alone with her children after her husband left her.
Zainab gets closer to Anas and gains the friendship of Ghita's girls. Sofia advises her sister to keep Zainab away from her home, and a woman asks Hayat to sell her son to her.
Omar asks his mother to treat Amal well. Zainab works in Anas’s clinic, but he refuses to let her leave the house. Abdel Malek asks Nuzha to give up her share in the inheritance to Amina.
Amal decides to leave her job and work with Sofia at the production company despite her husband's refusal. The relationship between Anas and Zainab becomes stronger, as she searches for an apartment to move into.
Hayat's husband is admitted to the hospital for surgery following a traffic accident, forcing Hayat to leave her children with Ghita, while Anas's relationship with Zainab strengthens, and Omar reconciles with Amal amidst Shamah's jealousy.
Zainab rents an apartment and Anas goes there every day, while Ghita notices that her daughter Lilia has changed, so she asks Anas to take care of his daughter, and Sofia marries Tariq.
Ghita celebrates her daughter's birthday, while Zainab feels jealous of her, so she asks Anas to find a solution to their relationship and spend the night with her, but he refuses.
Ghita finds traces of lipstick on Anas's shirt, so she tries to lure Zainab to tell her about the clinic's patients. Amal works at Sofia's company, and Hayat's husband suffers from paralysis, while she is unable to make ends meet.
Samira, Hayat's neighbor, helps her husband while she is working, which makes Hayat jealous. Zainab tries to make Anas love her by preparing his favorite food and saying sweet words to him.
Ghita discovers that Anas is cheating on her with Zainab, so she tells her sister and mother about it, while Amina advises Hayat not to leave her husband with Samira.
Ghita invites Anas to a romantic lunch, which upsets Zainab. Hayat kicks Samira out to keep her away from her husband. Amal asks Omar to let Aya work on a TV show, and he reluctantly agrees.
Hayat and Samira save Ali from an attempted kidnapping. Ghita asks Zainab to stay away from her husband, but she refuses and promises to take her husband and two daughters. Amina discusses with Abdel Malek the project they are working on establishing together.
Hayat gives her daughter to Samira to raise her due to her inability to balance her work and her taking care of her children. Amina recalls memories of her youth when Abdel Malek used to send her love poems.
Zainab opens the phone during her meeting with Anas, so Ghita overhears their conversation. Ghita discovers Anas's deceit and his relationship with Zainab. She becomes angry and calls Fouad, who goes to Zainab.
Anas arrives in time and saves Zainab from Fouad. Ghita despairs and stays in bed. Aya goes out with her friends behind her mother's back and comes home late.
Abdel Malek invites Amina to a romantic dinner and asks for her hand in marriage, and she agrees. Ghita is admitted to the hospital, while Anas tries to tell his two daughters that he wants to separate from their mother.
Hayat discovers that Samira escaped and took her child with her, so she informs the police. Zainab convinces Anas that Ghita is in a relationship with the president of the women’s organization. Aya is kidnapped, and Amal collapses when she hears the news, but the girl soon returns home.
Samira returns with Hayat's child, hands her over to her and runs away. Amal accuses Omar of having a mistress. Ghita and Amin's relationship grows stronger. Amina is diagnosed with cancer and hides the matter from her two daughters.
The police find Ghita and Amin alone in a romantic situation in her house, and Zainab asks Anas to divorce Ghita and marry her.
Ghita and Amin are arrested, and Omar registers the house in Amal's name. Aya quarrels with Nasser, who falls on his head after she pushes him, and Amina undergoes surgery.
After Ghita is released from jail and goes home, Anas kicks her out. Aya returns home in a miserable state and does not tell her father what happened to her. Shamah decides to work with Amina in making sweets.
Aya is admitted to intensive care following a traffic accident. Lilia refuses to reconcile with her mother, while Anas agrees to divorce Ghita and leave custody of the two girls to her. Amal quarrels with her husband because of his neglect of her and their children.
Ghita and Sofia are surprised and angry at their mother's marriage. Anas proposes to Zainab, and despite this, he confesses to Ghita that he still loves her, while Hayat gives birth to twins.
Anas tells Zainab that he wants to stay with his wife and two daughters, while Ghita refuses to return to him. Lilia learns of her mother’s innocence regarding her alleged relationship with Amin. Aya reconciles with her parents and returns to school, and Sofia agrees to have children.
