Kaya-chan attends Hanamugi Kindergarten, and she has an incredibly strong sixth sense. She secretly beats up the ghosts that stalk her friends and family, but in turn, she’s treated like a troublemaker since nobody understands her strange behavior. Everything changes when her teacher, Chie, discovers her secret. Kaya-chan's fists will go flying at any sinister spirits that show up!

The story centers on Keitarou Gentouga, who has the ability to be a spirit medium. In junior high school, he got someone else wrapped up in a spirit possession incident, and he has been a shut-in for more than two years. As he reintroduces himself to society as a private tutor, he meets a genius girl named Yayoi Houzuki. Yayoi is instantly able to tell that Keitarou has skill as a spirit medium, and she invites him to go with her to a haunted location. The two then start their journey capturing evil spirits.

Guddi is a young girl who lives a happy life with her parents. Unbeknownst to them, she can see premonitions. However, her ability soon turns into a nightmare when she foresees her parents' death, and it tragically comes true. After losing them, Guddi finds shelter with her uncle and aunt, but they oppress her. In her toughest moments, she prays for help and receives it most unexpectedly-from a doll, the last gift her parents gave her. As the doll assists Guddi through her toughest times, others begin to learn of its power.
