Episode 8 starts with the Bruins going on a three-game "California road swing". Shawn Thornton's suspension is coming to an end, but they face three of the top teams in all of the Western Conference. Offenseman Loui Eriksson continues to heal, but is still not cleared to play as he meets with concussion specialists in California. The players explore California and some meet world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck while dining at one of his restaurants. Episode 9 begins with a win against Loui Eriksson's old team - the Dallas Stars. The team's goal before the Olympic break is to solidify their position on top of the Atlantic Conference. With the team headed to Chicago, the front office and scouting staff are in Las Vegas for their annual mid-season scouting meeting. The B's take their Stanley Cup opponent to OT. Rookie Kevan Miller signs a contract extension and receives congrats from teammates. The episode concludes with backup goalie Chad Johnson notching a big road win against the Islanders.
Episode 10 picks up five games before the Olympic break, and the Bruins comfortably atop the division. The first of the games won't be easy as the B's have been win-less against the Canadiens thus far. Unfortunately, this game was no different. Less than 48 hours later though, Boston notches a win against former teammate Andrew Ference and the Edmonton Oilers. The team wins 2 out of their last 3 games including a 7-2 win over Ottawa as the Olympic break begins. The episode concludes with five of the Bruins traveling to Sochi for the Olympic Games.
Episode 11 begins during the 2014 Olympic break. Torey Krug and Kevan Miller use their last day off to watch teammate David Krejci play for the Czech Olympic team. When vacation ends, the team is back together for weigh-in and practice. While the B's are back together and practicing, some are still in Sochi battling for medal contention. Episode 12 starts with a game on the road at the Florida Panthers. The rare 5:00 game resulted in a big 5-2 win. Bruins owner, Jeremy Jacobs invites the team to his home for a barbecue and a day off filled with great food, friends and fun. The Bruins are on the road in Montreal and build their division lead with their sixth win in a row. Fans made it clear that they want more "Tuukka Time" on Behind the B, so he is followed closely. Episode 13 begins with two weeks left in the regular season and the Bruins in 1st place in the Eastern Conference. Before play starts, the team gets together for a dinner to celebrate an outstanding regular season and prepare for what lies ahead. The B's win three of the next four games, with two of those wins coming on the road. This gives Boston a 3-2 series lead, and need just one more win to advance. Game 6 is a mystery as the Bruins can't figure out goaltender Carey Price, dropping game six 4-0.
