Season 1 · Episode 1
Warsaw homicide detective Mandżaro and his team are called in to investigate a brutal murder with suggestions of cannibalism. Caught fleeing to Estonia, the killer hints at a strange manifesto.
Maria, a Ukrainian officer, joins the Warsaw team. A high-profile banker is murdered, and the killer attacks a journalist at the police press conference. He says he's a spokesman... but for whom?
Assassins dressed similarly to Lemuel murder a politician and, as at the previous crime scene, a cryptic message is painted on the wall. Mandżaro resists cooperating with the intelligence services.
The latest victim is Tomi, a judge on a famous talent show. The investigation reveals that he died during an altercation with two diplomats, who were also among his drug connections.
Three retired police officers, all veterans of big cases, are killed. The incidents seem unconnected... but pictures of each corpse were taken at the scene by an unknown photographer.
Famous TV journalist and billionaire's wife Paulina Klejna is murdered, and some of the clues point to Deputy Prime Minister Dariusz Knychała. But Knychała's bodyguard is also implicated.
The investigation into the murder of Paulina Klejna uncovers blackmail in Szymon's business affairs. Besieged by the police, the killer calls in a sniper, who targets Maria.
On his daily jog, Mandżaro stumbles across an unconscious entrepreneur, who later claims he was kidnapped and drugged by people calling themselves... Luizjana and Mandżaro!
Cleaner Joanna is injured in a bomb blast, and later, in hospital, someone tries to finish her off. Mandżaro and Luizjana make an arrest, but there's another sniper attack...
Lemuel is released from prison and Dymińska orders him to report to his former commander. Kamil gives Mandżaro a tip about three corpses at the bottom of the Zegrze Lagoon.
The bodies in the lake are identified as two Ukrainian cops and a wanted criminal. Mandżaro meets Stawiski at the hospital, and Stawiski lays out his beliefs as Joanna secretly observes.
Mandżaro heads for Ukraine to uncover Maria's history. Stawiski's group tries to eliminate Kamil during transport; he's too deviant even for them. And familial connections are revealed.
The conspiracy reaches its conclusion as cops race to find Mandżaro. Lemuel, Luty and Maks shift their allegiances. And Mandżaro receives a lucrative proposal, but there's a surprise in store...
