As the mother asks about Farhan, it's revealed that his name is the same as an escaped criminal's, who is also married with kids, and the criminal's wife arrives to ask about her husband. The mother asks Farhan for confirmation that he has no standing sentences.

Samar suspects that Abu Mahmoud (Mahmoud's father) took her missing necklace. Umm Taysir (Taysir's mother) resorts to fortune-telling to figure out the truth. Ahmed reveals that he is the one who hid the necklace.

When a thief breaks into their house, Ahmed beats him until they all believe him dead. Their neighbor finds out and carries him to his own apartment. The neighbor eventually reveals that the thief is alive and that he stole his phone before fleeing.

A misunderstanding causes Samar to mistakenly thinks that Farhan is cheating on her and kicks him out. When the truth is revealed, Abu Farhan (Farhan's father) calls him back.

The mother has Samar leave a note for Ahmed to buy meat from the market, and another note for Abu Farhan to tell him that she is going to leave the door open for him. The notes get mixed up and Abu Farhan buys the meat.

The mother leaves to help deliver a woman. When a guy arrives to ask about her mother, Samar thinks that she was kidnapped. When she grows to suspect that Farhan is working for the gang, she ties him up. The mother returns and clears the misunderstanding.

As the mother takes her three children and her daughter's fiancé Farhan on a trip, Umm Khaled rents out their apartment. Farhan and Ahmed initially believe that the apartment is inhabited by Jin before the truth is revealed.

Abu Wasfy (Wasfy's father) brings a foreign student to rent a room in Umm Samar's house. Ahmed suggests that he weds the foreign student to foil Umm Khaled's plans.

When the mother falls ill, she undergoes a series of tests. Umm Taysir tells Umm Samar that she only has two months to live. It's revealed that the results Farhan got do not belong to Umm Samar.

A TV crew uses the window of Umm Ahmed's apartment. When the director offers the mother the chance to star in a series, she asks Farhan to postpone his wedding for a month.

Umm Taysir introduces Umm Ahmed to Ghalib, who promises to invest their money for a share of the interest. Ahmed pursues his dream of being an actor. It turns out that Ghalib is a swindler who escaped with their money.

As Umm Ahmed travels, the landlord examines the apartment on Umm Khaled's advice after convincing him that Umm Ahmed is planning some renovations. Umm Taysir tells Umm Ahmed of the ruckus that happened in her absence.

Umm Ahmed tells Umm Taysir that she found Ghalib and brought back some of the money he took from them. Umm Ahmed starts trading in imported clothes. She returns home to find Farhan in the house.

It's revealed that Umm Khaled is the one who exposed Umm Ahmed's smuggling of clothes. As tensions rise between Umm Ahmed and Umm Khaled, it escalates into an all-out war, and the neighbors try to reconcile the two.

The mother believes that Samer's mother wants to wed Samar to Samer. When Samar runs away, the mother thinks that Farhan kidnapped her. Awad eventually tells her that Samar is in Umm Taysir's apartment. Abu Erfan (Erfan's father) wants to wed Umm Ahmed.

Umm Ahmed refuses to wed Abu Erfan. Abu Erfan brings a gun and gives another to Farhan for them to resolve their dispute. Umm Ahmed goes to deliver a pregnant woman whose childbirth becomes difficult.

The landlord proposes to Umm Ahmed and offers to waive the rent if she agrees. Abu Wasfy proposes to Umm Ahmed too and asks her to partner up with him to buy the building from the landlord. Another suitor, Abu Mahmoud, arrives to propose to her.

When Umm Ahmed considers becoming the neighborhood's chief, Umm Taysir asks to be her assistant. Umm Ahmed gathers the neighbors to discuss the problems facing the neighborhood, but the police show up to investigate a noise complaint.

Umm Ahmed tells Umm Taysir that she doesn't want to stick to the date of Samar's wedding to Farhan. Umm Taysir comes up with the idea for a project. On Samar's wedding day, the police inform the family that Umm Ahmed is a beggar.

When Abu Wasfy renews his proposal to Umm Ahmed, Samar and Farhan grow upset and try to get him to hate her. As he brings the marriage officiant to wed her, the police arrive to arrest him.

Ahmed brings a client's car home to take Awad and her son to the doctor. Awad returns to claim that they got in an accident, but she's covering up the fact that the car was towed by the police. Ahmed gets fired.

Umm Ahmed's treatment of Farhan changes after he starts providing for the house. But when Ahmed wins the lottery, she resumes her ill-treatment of him, only to discover that Farhan bought half the lottery ticket from Ahmed.

Farhan and Mohamed plot to fake a kidnapping to get Ahmed to give Farhan the lottery money. When Farhan returns home to find Mohamed missing, Umm Ahmed refuses to believe that it was all a plot and calls the police on him.

When everyone finds out about the lottery money, both the landlord and Abu Wasfy arrive to ask for an answer to their proposals and propose the ideas for some projects.

Ahmed thinks about going to Egypt to wed Mervat Amin, and convinces Khaled to accompany him to wed Soheir Ramzy. Umm Ahmed asks Abu Wasfy to mediate with the landlord to buy the house, but he sells it to Zaky Aluminum.

Umm Ahmed offers Umm Khaled a job as her secretary. Ahmed gets the director to film scenes between him and Samar that resemble scenes from an Egyptian film. Umm Ahmed gets the director to film her while she works.

Umm Ahmed looks for a suitable location to open a super market. The distributors arrive to show her their merchandise.

Umm Ahmed invites Zaky Aluminium over to discuss a business venture. Samar teaches Umm Ahmed etiquette. On Umm Ahmed's request, Abu Wasfy gathers the neighborhood's children to train him on how to welcome Zaky.

Umm Ahmed opens a company that she names 'Ahmed Tours'. When Abu Wasfy informs her that the new buses have arrived, she sells her furniture in preparation for her move to her new apartment. Umm Ahmed asks Farhan and Samar to wed.
