Season 1 · Episode 1
Kent, a handsome and skilled pâtissier, draws flocks of female customers to his cake shop "K." Manager Cola suggests a collaboration with Cain, a hugely popular musician.
Cain, who dislikes sweets, is shocked by how delicious Kent’s cakes are. They agree to collaborate, and Cain even starts pastry training under Kent—but for some reason, he struggles to focus.
A blackout traps cake-phobic Kent in the dark. Cain rescues him, and the incident sparks a shift in their relationship. Soon after, Kent is asked to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.
Cain is asked to perform a new song at the wedding of his high school crush, Soda. Though supportive, Kent senses Cain’s lingering feelings and tells him, “Your past doesn’t matter to me”… but will that be enough?
Their new song is progressing, and their collaboration is announced publicly. But at the press event, Cain denies any romantic feelings for Kent—unable to be honest about his emotions.
Soda and fiancée Noah plan a rare dinner out, but Soda cancels last minute. Meanwhile, Cain dozes off while minding the cake shop, causing a small fire—after sneakily eating some nuts.
Soda is shaken when he learns of Cain’s feelings. Kent also confronts Soda, criticizing him for visiting Cain instead of staying with Noah. Meanwhile, Noah waits, uncertain about Soda’s heart.
After leaving the hospital, Cain cancels work to spend time with Kent. He later meets with Soda and explains why he kept their matching pendant—it’s a cherished memory. Meanwhile, Noah makes a pivotal decision.
Noah leaves Soda a note and disappears. Soda learns from a friend that Noah is flying to Thailand that afternoon. He rushes to the airport with Kent and Cain to find him.
News of Kent and Cain’s relationship leaks. Cain’s manager, Ray, forces him to choose: Kent or his career. Kent tells him, “Whatever you choose, as long as you’re happy.” Touched, Cain breaks down in tears.
