Kolkata police detective Aniket Sanyal (Kharaj) guess on a holiday to Kasuli in Himachal Pradesh after his wife's death, only to be sought out to solve the mystery behind the well-planned murder of another tourist.

Three penniless students live in the basement of one of the buildings owned by a young heiress who lives under the guardianship of her uncle, who covets her wealth and wants to marry her to his failed student son. The heiress falls in love with one of the three students and the heiress on the one hand, and her guardian uncle and his son on the other.
