Two Japanese men help a Vietnam war deserter escape from Japan for Sweden. They plan to fund the escape by selling LSD pills. After word of the drug deal gets spread around they find themselves fending off rival gangs.
A career criminal, Ah Sang, engineers a bank robbery to be carried out by a gang of recruited hoodlums led by himself. It takes only three minutes to complete the robbery of seven million dollars. Miklo is incarcerated and sent to San Quentin, where he makes a "home" for himself. Cruz becomes an exceptional artist, but a heroin addiction overcomes him with tragic results.
