Mangal Singh is the head of a village that gets it's revenue by selling cocaine. When Police Inspector Kisna finds out he goes to live incognito with the villagers to try and talk them out of dealing with drugs. He meets and falls in love with Mangal's daughter, Savi, and gets married to her.

Shekhar and Birsingh are bosom pals. They come to stay at a small chawl where an angry woman confronts them. But when their hatred turns into love and oneness they form a sister-brother relationship, willing to lay down their lives for each other. On the other side, there are two lovers – Ravi and Rita. Shekhar and Birsingh are also strangely related to Rita.

Shanker Choudhury's (Tarun Bose) mother (Pratima Devi), at the pleas of her dying husband, marries off his (Shanker's) daughter to a youth. Both the children are under-age and do not know nor understand that they have been married.

Young Deepa, who works as a housemaid in the house of a wealthy family, is molested by the drunken son and a friend, but Deepa manages to escape. She works for gangster Shambhu Dada and steals and picks pockets. She is arrested by the police again, and this time sentenced to a year in prison. Judge Sinha, who sentenced her, would like to give her another chance at improving herself, and asks her to come and live with him and his family, which she does. After several misunderstandings and quarrels, things go well, until Judge Sinha's son, Kishore, returns home from hostel - and Deepa recognizes him as one of the young men who had molested her, and changed her life forever.

Thakur is a proud and dignified man who loves his only daughter, Chanda, dearly. His wife and he receive a proposal for Chanda from the house of a lawyer and his wife. While Thakur accepts the proposal, he makes it clear to the lawyer that he is unable to afford any dowry. After the wedding, Chanda's mother-in-law starts harassing Chanda about her lack of dowry.

The question is will Deepak get away with this blatant act of proposed bigamy?

Ram must decide to hand himself over to the police, and let his wife and her mother be at the mercy of Shakti or continue to evade the police and search for Kiran and Madhu.
