Samurai

A samurai answers a village's request for protection after he falls on hard times. The town needs protection from bandits, so the samurai gathers six others to help him teach the people how to defend themselves, and the villagers provide the soldiers with food.

Miyamoto Musashi is challenged by a series of opponents in this follow up to Miyamoto Musashi's Kongoin Ketto (1942, also called Nitoryu Kaigen) also directed by Ito Daisuke.

The real Tanbei Chigashira followed three strict rules: do not kill, do not rape women, and do not steal from the poor.

Taking on the role of Juzo Ono, who holds the key to the story, is Tokio Emoto, following his performances in 'Lawless Love' and 'Blood for Blood.' This portrayal adds another layer to the character previously played by Tokio Emoto's father, Akira.
