An embarrassing problem emerges in a quiet household somewhere in a province of Sri Lanka. The patriarch of a lovely family suddenly dies in front of the TV one fateful night. He experienced something soulfully romantic before his last breath and the most sensitive part of his deceased body still functions without pulse or blood pressure. His two grown sons and a mourning mother are eager to bend down the standing organ to avoid shameful reactions at the funeral.

Spies from different nationalities stationed in a small Asian island work out a plot to create an international incident taking profit from it. Defrauding CIA through fake reports and running a front company using operating funds, they control the island and use the skills acquired in the service of their countries to pursue their personal dreams of wealth and happiness.

Their plans to simply escape into the West upon arrival in Germany are thwarted by the quick appearance of the tournament organizers and an arena of fans eager to see the prowess of the Sri Lanka National Handball Team.

Vaishnavee (The Goddess), (Sinhalese: වෛෂ්ණාවී) is a 2018 Sri Lankan Sinhala drama thriller film directed by veteran director Sumitra Peries and produced by Mano Nanayakkara. 1930’s, Sri Lanka. Partly a compelling domestic drama, and a demonic love story, the narrative follows a puppet-maker who’s set to be married to a young girl. Unfortunately, the girl elopes with her secret lover. Devastated, the grieving puppet-maker ends up carving a puppet in her likeness, which eventually comes to life, setting in motion a fantastical chain of events.

The film starts with a release of peoples' vote of government election, where Rajamanthri (Vijaya) lost his seat and crying with his allies. However, his secretary Sumanasiri (Rodney) revealed that the winning member has been hospitalized after hearing the shocking news of that he won the election of the seat. After winning the seat, he started to celebrate the win, but his fellow ministers (Priyantha and Jayasiri) started to make actions against him. However, with many funny incidents, Rajamanthri pass all the battles with the help of his allies. Meanwhile, Liyana Mahaththaya (Lal), clark (Mihira) and Kalu mudalali (Giriraj) proposed an Awurudu Ulela to impress Chief minister Narendrasinghe (Sathischandra).

Gindari 2: Bahubuthayo 3 (Sinhala: ගින්දරී 2 - බහුබූතයෝ 3) is a 2022 Sinhalese comedy mystery film written and directed and produced by Udayakantha Warnasuriya.The film served as a sequel to the 2015 film Gindari, which is the third installment of Bahubuthayo film series. Rodney Warnakula, Mahendra Perera and Paboda Sandeepani in reprise their lead roles along with Saman Hemaratne and Srinath Maddumage. Music composed by Ananda Perera.

The story revolves around the match-maker Mangala Jaya (Vijaya), who is a poor, but kind hearted person with a single daughter. A series of hilarious incidents went through the plot, and though he is a match-maker, he fails to find a good boy to his young daughter. At last, his daughter was able to find the soul mate.
