An old man is reading a book by the fire. The clock strikes 8, and he heads off to bed. From his book, Alice in Wonderland, out crawls Alice, who turns the radio to the title tune. This wakes up Rip Van Winkle; Alice then rouses the Three Musketeers, who sing a bit. Next tune: Nero fiddles, Rome burns, and Cleopatra sizzles in a slinky dance. Uncle Tom sings a spiritual as Mr. Hyde sneaks up and abducts Alice. Tarzan to the rescue, along with several other characters who mount a spirited attack using such office supplies as pen points, matches, and a fountain pen. They box him up and carry him off.

A hungry cat disguises herself as a skunk to get in on feeding time at the zoo, but amorous Pepé thinks she's the real thing and pours on his Maurice Chevalier impression to win her over.

The Gambling Bug causes gambling fever in anyone he bites.

Porky Pig goes on a hunting expedition, accompanied by his dog, and they bring home a live Daffy Duck, to put into a freezer until cooking time.

Sylvester Cat spots Tweety Bird in a San Francisco apartment and tries to gain access but cannot make it past Granny or the cat-hating desk clerk.

The bears tempt Goldilocks with carrot soup, the scent of which brings Bugs on the scene. Bugs romances Mama Bear, and she becomes infatuated with him.

A streetcar conductor, Foxy has adventures with a would-be passenger hippo, a cow blocking the tracks, and a runaway train while Foxy, his passengers, and some hobos sing the title song.

A sleeping car employee seeking a well-deserved rest is prevented from doing so by the crowing of his neighbor's rooster. Just as he's about to settle the score, he's presented with a gift: a rubber band around the annoying bird's beak temporarily puts an end to its vocalizations. But the animal can't be left alone, and Pierre has to take it with him on his nocturnal journeys: you can imagine the disturbance it can cause when, after being thrown out of a wagon window, it lands in the next van full of pheasants. The whole little world spills out onto the train, and the conductor is not at all pleased! Pierre manages to get a young passenger to assume ownership of the rooster, but not for long. Every time Pierre tries to get rid of it, it somehow comes back to him.

An absent-minded wolf sets out to catch Bugs for dinner but keeps forgetting what he was heading out to shoot in the first place.

Pluto discovers that a gopher has been stealing bones from his hidden stash.

A spurned love bird tries to get Sylvester to put him out of his misery.

Join Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and the Mystery Inc. crew as they head to Chicago for Talent Star, a hit talent show in which Fred and Daphne are finalists with some high hopes. Unlucky for them, the competition is frightful as the show is being broadcast from an opera house with a history of horrors and a particularly vengeful phantom that has cursed the show's production.

Daffy Duck is a salesman for a futuristic appliance company, who, against Elmer Fudd's will, modernizes Fudd's house with many screwball gadgets, none of which work in Fudd's favor.
