Born and raised in Cheung Chau, CHING LAI-WING is a doctor specializing in cardiothoracic surgery. His mother LAU MIU-LIN opens a souvenir shop in Cheung Chau and his father CHING YUK-BIU is a school's sports teacher in Cheung Chau. LAI-WING takes holidays during the Bun Festival to visit his family members and he meets his good friend CHAN MOON-KEI who is working as a postman now. While cycling on the street, LAI-WING has a crash with CHEUNG PO-SANG who happens to be his good friend as well. LAI-WING gives PO-SANG the latest yacht magazine for PO-SANG always dreams of having his own yacht. PO-SANG complains that his father CHEUNG SING-MUI who runs a seafood restaurant is looking down on him. He tries to air his grievances by driving the boat over speed all the time. PO-SANG's boat crashes with Uncle and Auntie HA's boat accidentally.… ...

LAI-WING, PO-SANG and MOON-KEI go to the beach for BBQ and they talk about their love affairs. LAI-WING reveals that he has been single after separating with his ex-girlfriend KWOK HEI-MAN. HEI-MAN is IP WING-SHAN's daughter and PO-SANG reveals that he cannot forget her as well. HEI-MAN suddenly arrives at Cheung Chau. She reveals that her PR Company is responsible for the renewal project of her old school so she is coming back. PO-SANG asks LAI-WING if he will pursue HEI-MAN again. If not, he is going to pursue her. PO-SANG discovers the drunken CHU LING-LING approaching him and he is very scared... HEI-MAN invites her mother to live with her in the city but WING-SHAN worries about HEI-MAN's relationship with her boyfriend. LAI-WING and HEI-MAN meet MIU-LIN on the street accidentally. MIU-LIN invites HEI-MAN to have dinner at home.… ...

YUK-BIU and LAI-WING go to the peak of Cheung Chau after rock-climbing. YUK-BIU discovers that LAI-WING is worrying about HEI-MAN. CHUN-HUNG and his son bring LING-LING to the Kaifong Association to make a complaint on PO-SANG. LING-LING reveals that PO-SANG is not taking responsibility after sleeping with her and PO-SANG denies. SING-MUI believes in them and CHUN-HUNG complains that SING-MUI is not qualified to be the president of Kaifong Association. PO-SANG, MING-FAI and MA YAU meet CHENG PO-PO who just returned from the USA. PO-SANG starts a quarrel with PO-PO. PO-SANG tells other people that he has met a troublesome woman and PO-PO suddenly arrives with her production team. PO-PO is actually a TV producer from New York and she wants to produce a documentary on Cheung Chau. SING-MUI assigns PO-SANG to be the tour guide.… ...

PO-SANG brings PO-PO to MA YAU's shop to take video of the bun making process and he makes a bet with PO-PO. LAI-WING, PO-SANG and MOON-KEI go to the beach for BBQ again. PO-SANG suggests MOON-KEI to meet more female friends but MOON-KEI prefers to improve himself by studying at the Open University of Hong Kong. After finishing his work, LAI-WING receives a call from HEI-MAN asking him for lunch. During lunch, CHOW KAI-WAH and his fiancee CHIN KA-LEI arrive at the restaurant. KAI-WING has been donating money on the renewal project of Cheung Chau's school. HEI-MAN introduces LAI-WING to them as her boyfriend and she claims that they are celebrating her birthday. PO-PO tries to exchange her traveler's cheque at SING-MUI's restaurant. PO-SANG takes away PO-PO's cash from the drawer after receiving a phone call and he rushes to Hong Kong Island.… ...

PO-PO goes to take video at MOON-KEI's father CHAN KEUNG's photo studio. The cameraman is dissatisfied with CHAN KEUNG's behavior. All crew members are upset that PO-PO fails to pay them and they leave. PO-SANG brings PO-PO to WING-SHAN's younger brother YIP HOK-MING for help. In the hotel, PO-PO recalls what her father was telling her before his death. He said that PO-PO is not his own daughter and he gave PO-PO a picture that her mother had been keeping for a long time. Since the photo was taken in Cheung Chau, PO-PO believes that her father is still staying there. The consulting doctor AU CHUNG-KWAN allows a patient to leave but LAI-WING believes that this patient should stay in the hospital and he argues with CHUNG-KWAN. During the kick-off ceremony for the school's renewal project, KA-LEI suddenly arrives and she slaps HEI-MAN on her face for seducing her fiance.… ...

PO-PO sends PO-SANG a message telling him that she fails to receive any money from the USA. She is very depressed and she wants to die. PO-SANG finally finds PO-PO and he brings her to stay at WING-SHAN’s holiday home. HEI-MAN wants to separate with KAI-WAH but KAI-WAI doesn't want it. HEI-MAN discovers that LAI-WING is coming and she deliberately tells KAI-WAH that she only wants to find somebody who truly loves her. LAI-WING discovers that HEI-MAN is playing trick and he scolds her. KAI-WAH goes to HEI-MAN’s office to tell her that he wants a separation. He announces that the PR Company will be closed down and he will take back the mansion given to her. HEI-MAN is shocked. She commits suicide and is sent to the hospital. PO-PO tries to earn money on the street and she is sexually harassed by YIU-KAI. PO-SANG wants to help her and he asks his father to hire PO-PO. PO-SANG and PO-PO meet CHAN KEUNG and his son on the street.… ...

WING-SHAN prepares beddings for PO-PO and PO-PO tries to check out the background of SING-MUI from her. PO-SANG brings PO-PO to breakfast and he suffers from food allergy afterwards. PO-SANG reveals that his whole family is allergic to peanuts. PO-PO is also allergic to peanuts and she believes that she is his family member. CHUNG-KWAN reveals that LAI-WING’s performance is satisfactory recently and he will transfer him back to cardiothoracic surgery division. LAI-WING discovers that HEI-MAN is in the hospital and he tries to find out the reason from WING-SHAN. LAI-WING goes to lunch with Dr KWAN and Dr KWAN reveals that he is going to retire soon. MIU-LIN invites Auntie NG and her daughter LAN to her home for she wants to match LAN up with LAI-WING. YUK-BIU reminds LAI-WING to choose someone who can support him to be his girlfriend. HEI-MAN asks KAI-WAH to meet up at the pub.… ...

KA-LEI has got an accident and CHUNG-KWAN asks LAI-WING to perform an operation for her. However, WING-LAI discovers that another urgent patient has arrived and he decides to perform operation for that patient first. After the operation, the nurse reports that KA-LEI’s lung is suddenly bleeding seriously and she is in a critical situation. PO-PO is busy cooking in the kitchen. PO-SANG urges her to look at his room. PO-PO encourages PO-SANG after looking at his room. PO-PO mentions to MAN-FUNG that the famous band BIRD is coming to Hong Kong. She is interested but she cannot afford to buy the tickets. PO-PO discovers a broken gramophone record of Scent of Lotus in the storeroom and she decides to find a new one. Based on some findings, PO-PO believes that SING-MUI is her father but she doesn’t know if she should tell him. CHUNG-KWAN reveals that KA-LEI is making a complaint against LAI-WING for delaying her surgery.… ...

MIU-LIN questions LAI-WING about KA-LEI’s case and LAI-WING reveals that he has done nothing wrong. WING-SHAN asks HEI-MAN to explain the case to KA-LEI together. HEI-MAN feels that WING-SHAN is putting the blame on her and she starts a quarrel with WING-SHAN. During dinner, PO-PO and MAN-FUNG talk about BIRD’s concert again. SING-MUI suggests paying her earlier but MAN-FUNG reveals that all tickets are gone already. PO-SANG kills the grouper accidentally. He has arranged to get BIRD’s concert tickets in Central for PO-PO secretly. SING-MUI asks PO-SANG to get another grouper from Lamma Island. Since time is very tight and PO-SANG needs to go to Central for the ticket urgently, he tries to get another grouper from RAT CHEUNG. After eating the grouper, the customers suffer from diarrhea. SING-MUI blames PO-SANG for causing the food-poisoning incident but PO-SANG answers back. SING-MUI is enraged and he slaps him on his face.… ...

SING-MUI meets Dr KWAN and he admires him for having a good daughter but Dr KWAN reveals the problems of her daughter to him. PO-SANG swears that he will not disappoint his father anymore. He asks if PO-PO would consider him when he becomes a better man but PO-PO rejects him. HEI-MAN threatens KAI-WAH with their photos taken on bed and she asks him to stop KA-LEI from suing LAI-WING. YUK-BIU reveals that he doesn’t know how to teach his son and he asks Dr KWAN to help him. Dr KWAN invites LAI-WING to buy down jacket together in Hong Kong Island and he tries to give him some advice during the trip. The hospital announces that the KA-LEI’s complaint will not be processed but LAI-WING has decided to resign already. PO-SANG decides to make Sing Mui Kee Seafood popular again but he fails to find MAN-FUNG. MAN-FUNG has been invited by the famous music producer ALBERT to an audition at his company.… ...

YIU-KAI stops LING-LING from helping Sing Mui Kee to distribute leaflets for he believes that PO-SANG is using her. YIU-KAI slaps LING-LING on her face but PO-SANG is not helping her. LING-LING is heart-broken and she wants to commit suicide. SING-MUI believes that the business will be bad and he loses hope on his son but PO-PO speaks for PO-SANG. PO-SANG apologizes to everybody on the street and he begs them to give Sing Mui Kee one more chance. People find that LAI-WING is helping MIU-LIN to take care of the souvenir shop. They tease LAI-WING for not working as a doctor anymore and MIU-LIN is very sad. Grandma NG distributes wedding invitation cards in a gathering. LAI-WING accompanies MIU-LIN to attend the gathering. MIU-LIN is very upset to see WING-SHAN and HEI-MAN there. She blames HEI-MAN for causing the trouble to LAI-WING and she scolds WING-SHAN as well. HEI-MAN tries to answer back but WING-SHAN slaps her on her face.… ...

PO-SANG asks PO-PO to give him a chance but PO-PO reveals that he is actually her elder brother. PO-PO tries to reveal it to SING-MUI as well but MAN-FUNG interrupts their conversation… HOK-MING accuses ALBERT for copying his work into an advertising song. MAN-FUNG looks at her mother’s old photos and she discovers PO-PO’s mother’s photo. She tells PO-PO about it and PO-PO tries to question CHAN KEUNG. HEI-MAN asks her friend SUSAN to help finding a job but SUSAN reveals that nobody in the Public Relations field is going to hire her. HEI-MAN is playing music and PO-PO joins her. They then go to the beach to have a chat. Inspired by PO-PO, HEI-MAN decides to develop her holiday home rental business. Dr KWAN asks LAI-WING to help managing his clinic since his daughter SZE-HO will be staying in Hong Kong for 2 weeks. LAI-WING accompanies them to eat at a restaurant.… ...

LAI-WING receives a call from Nurse WONG telling him that Dr KWAN has got an accident… LAI-WING starts managing Dr KWAN’s clinic. HOK-MING has hurt his leg and LAI-WING goes to give him treatment. He meets HEI-MAN and they chat at the balcony. HOK-MING believes that HEI-MAN is still interested in LAI-WING. PO-SANG asks LING-LING for help again. LING-LING goes to the fitness center to seduce ALBERT and PO-SANG takes video of it. MAN-FUNG returns home to discover some Japanese stuffs from SING-MUI and she is overjoyed. PO-SANG discovers that his father is allowing MAN-FUNG to go to Japan and he blames PO-PO for making it happen. HEI-MAN tells PO-PO her holiday home project and she asks her to work on it together. PO-PO discovers her mother’s photo and WING-SHAN reveals that this is her good friend YUET-MUI. HEI-MAN’s partner SUSAN suddenly withdraws from the project.… ...

PO-SANG, MAN-FUNG and MOON-KEI help HEI-MAN to renovate her holiday home. WING-LAI also joins them in the afternoon after work. PO-SANG and PO-PO always fight with each other. MOON-KEI tries to get close to MAN-FUNG but WING-SHAN asks for her help at another place. HEI-MAN goes to the clinic unconsciously and she discovers the crystal apple there. She breaks the crystal apple accidentally and she takes it home to fix it. Everybody in the record company is celebrating with ALBERT for he just received an award. MAN-FUNG is there as well. MOON-KEI is worried and he waits for MAN-FUNG outside but he suddenly learns from the police station that CHAN KEUNG has lost his way at Peng Chau. When everybody has left, ALBERT tries to sexually assault the drunk MAN-FUNG. PO-PO accompanies MAN-FUNG to meet up with ALBERT for she wants to terminate her contract. ALBERT says that MAN-FUNG needs to pay him 3 million dollars for breach of contract.… ...

SING-MUI reveals that he will find the best lawyer for PO-SANG and he is willing to sell his restaurant to save him. PO-PO is ashamed. She finds that PO-SANG is trying hard to protect MAN-FUNG and her perception on him is changed. LAI-WING writes a referral letter to CHAN KEUNG for a thorough body check in Hong Kong Island. He reveals that Nurse WONG is suddenly missing without leaving a word. MOON-KEI says that he has just seen her at Sai Wan in the morning. During the opening ceremony for the holiday home, HEI-MAN serves the representatives of S&S enthusiastically. CHUN-HUNG and his son come to make trouble again. They say that the holiday home looks like an hourly hotel. HEI-MAN plans to organize some activities with the neighbors to attract tourists and the first event is Cheung Chau Cup. When MIU-LIN tastes some food in the supermarket, the food stuck in her throat accidentally and KAM MEI-KEI comes to rescue her.… ...

MAN-FUNG is being laughed at in school. She doesn’t want her father to be embarrassed and she wants to leave Cheung Chau. MOON-KEI wants to help her but he has no clue. MIU-LIN invites MEI-KEI to stay for dinner for she wants to match MEI-KEI up with LAI-WING. PETER appreciates HEI-MAN’s capability and he declares his love to her. He invites HEI-MAN to go overseas for further development together but HEI-MAN rejects him. PETER declares his love to HEI-MAN again and he sends her a diamond ring. LAI-WING arrives and claims that he is HEI-MAN’s boyfriend. MIU-LIN learns that LAI-WING is dating with HEI-MAN again and she is very angry. YUK-BIU persuades her to keep calm. PO-SANG hurts his leg while looking for PO-PO at S&S. PO-PO carries him to the doctor and PO-SANG takes video of it. PO-PO receives a call from KIM asking her to return to USA immediately. PO-SANG is heartbroken to learn about it and he feels hopeless…

PO-SANG pursues PO-PO successfully and he celebrates by giving away free dim sum at Sing Mui Kee. A foreign customer makes complaints at S&S and PO-SANG voluntarily asks to handle it. LAI-WING and MOON-KEI ask him to learn foreign languages by downloading apps on his mobile phone. PO-SANG worries that people will laugh at him but MOON-KEI encourages him. YIU-KAI plans to make use of MAN-FUNG to take revenge on PO-SANG for playing LING-LING. LAI-WING is away. MEI-KEI helps Uncle and Auntie HA to change their booking date but she is distracted by something. YUK-BIU asks MEI-KEI not to step into LAI-WING and HEI-MAN’s relationship but MEI-KEI tries to get intimate with YUK-BIU. When YUK-BIU has gone, MEI-KEI discovers that he has left MIU-LIN’s ring in her place. While eating in the restaurant, MIU-LIN reveals to YUK-BIU that she wants to get back the ring from the jewelry shop soon.… ...

LAI-WING tells HEI-MAN what happened. HEI-MAN says that if MEI-KEI is doing it intentionally, this may cause great harm to his parents’ relationship. She also reveals that MEI-KEI was having some abnormal behaviors before. MEI-KEI tries to tie MIU-LIN up when YUK-BIU is having a shower for she wants MIU-LIN to see her husband committing adultery. Everybody try to make MEI-KEI drop her knife when she is not concentrating but MEI-KEI picks it up again to attack MIU-LIN… S&S staff reveals that LING-LING was dressed in red when she entered the room with charcoal. LING-LING questions PO-SANG why he did not choose her and she tries to kiss him by force. A Taiwanese customer TO SUM-YUE arrives at S&S and she is very picky with the room facilities. HEI-MAN tries to serve her carefully. LAI-WING receives a letter from the landlord informing him that the rent will be increased drastically.… ...

MOON-KEI has installed a camera at home. When he connects the camera to his mobile phone, he discovers that room is filled with smokes. When CHAN KEUNG returns, he cannot even recognize MOON-KEI and LAI-WING. MOON-KEI brings his father to the elderly center. When he packs up his father’s belongings, he discovers that CHAN KEUNG already knew that he is suffering from dementia. PO-SANG buys his father’s favorite roasted goose leg for him but SING-MUI cannot eat it because of his health problem. PO-SANG asks SING-MUI to have a thorough body check in Hong Kong Island. MAN-FUNG goes home to take her belongings when everybody is away. PO-SANG returns to get something and he meets MAN-FUNG. He also discovers YIU-KAI’s photo in MAN-FUNG’s mobile phone. SUM-YUE suddenly collapses on the street and LAI-WING offers help to her. When SUM-YUE is gone, LAI-WING discovers some medicine for curing cancer. SING-MUI asks about the news of MAN-FUNG.… ...

PO-SANG persuades MAN-FUNG to return home. He reveals that SING-MUI is ill and he misses her very much. LAI-WING meets SUM-YUE again and he encourages her to cherish her life. SUM-YUE reveals that the doctor said that she has three months left. LAI-WING learns that HOK-MING has become SO FUNG-NI’s fans and he asks him for more information of her works. LAI-WING sends SUM-YUE SMS to invite her to Kwun Yam Wan and he tells her that miracle could happen. PO-SANG receives a letter from the landlord informing him that the rent will be increased to 100 thousand dollars but he dare not to tell SING-MUI. SING-MUI finally learns about it and he asks PO-SANG to do nothing. PO-SANG reveals to PO-PO that he doesn’t want to close down the restaurant. YIU-KAI teaches LUNG to increase Sing Mui Kee’s rent drastically and LUNG gives YIU-KAI a pack of drugs. After drinking the beverages with drugs, MAN-FUNG collapses.… ...

PO-SANG's lumbar is seriously injured. If the operation fails, he may become paralyzed for a lifetime and he is very worried. WING-SHAN calls for a meeting at Kaifong Association to accuse CHUN-HUNG and his son. CHUN-HUNG blames SING-MUI for not educating his children well and he urges him to resign from the president role. SUM-YUE reveals to HEI-MAN that he wants LAI-WING to be his boyfriend. She takes out the crystal apple and tells HEI-MAN that LAI-WING doesn't care about it at all. HEI-MAN insists that she will not offer her boyfriend to SUM-YUE. SUM-YUE asks LAI-WING to fulfill her dream by becoming her boyfriend for a few days. PO-SANG doesn't want to have the operation. CHI-HIN reveals that the famous neurology doctor from USA, Dr SHERMAN, is coming to Hong Kong for a conference. With his help, the successful rate of PO-SANG's operation is very high. PO-PO brings PO-SANG to the seaside.… ...

HEI-MAN tries to test PO-PO and she discovers that PO-PO doesn't know that her father is TO KAI-YIU. Dr SHERMAN agrees to perform an operation for PO-SANG but the charge is very high. LAI-WING and HEI-MAN visit PO-SANG. LAI-WING leaves hurriedly upon receiving a SMS... SUM-YUE is wearing a wedding dress and she asks LAI-WING to dress up as well for photo taking. LAI-WING is shocked... The website of S&S is being hacked and it becomes a porn website. Many brothel frequenters arrive at S&S and HEI-MAN believes that this is done by KA-LEI. PO-SANG recovers and everybody celebrate with him. PO-SANG discovers that SING-MUI decides to shut down the restaurant. PO-SANG finds SING-MUI abnormal and WING-SHAN reveals that SING-MUI has mortgaged the two houses already. MOON-KEI tidies up the photo studio and he invites PO-PO to check out the old photos. PO-PO discovers TO KAI-YIU's photo.… ...

PO-SANG sends a message to PO-PO and PO-PO finds it strange. She goes to the hotel room mentioned in the message and discovers PO-SANG and HEI-MAN inside the room... On the next day, PO-PO leaves angrily. WING-SHAN worries that PO-PO still doesn't know anything about the ownership matter but HEI-MAN claims that PO-PO has asked them to manage it already. SING-MUI learns that PO-PO has left and he questions PO-SANG but PO-SANG lies to him. HEI-MAN learns that KAI-WAH could earn over 10 billion dollars from the Cheung Chau development project. Since she has his secret on hand, she threatens him to give her one hundred million dollars. KAI-WAH reveals to LAI-WING that HEI-MAN is collaborating with him. He teases him for not knowing anything about his girlfriend. MIU-LIN discovers a letter from USA two years ago. After seeing YUET-MUI's letter, PO-SANG tells HEI-MAN immediately and HEI-MAN urges him to take the letter back.… ...

WING-SHAN discovers HEI-MAN's evil plan and she persuades her not to dispossess other's house. HEI-MAN replies to everyone that she is doing it in consideration of the big picture. PO-SANG asks PO-PO to forgive him. PO-PO says that the house is the only memory left behind from her parents and she cannot forgive him. She has decided to return to USA. HOK-MING publishes a novel called "Starfish 77" on the Internet to share with everybody the daily happenings around him. KA-LEI reveals to HEI-MAN that KAI-WAH wants to set up another company and she has decided to divorce him. KAI-WAH goes to settle the deal with HEI-MAN and they start a fight. During the chaos, KAI-WAH throws a hot coffee pot towards HEI-MAN. HEI-MAN wakes up in the hospital and she worries if her face is disfigured. HEI-MAN is very ashamed to meet LAI-WING again and she asks her mother not to allow him to come... MAN-FUNG reveals that PO-PO plans to go back to USA.… ...

PO-PO visits HEI-MAN. She reveals that she has forgiven her but she cannot forgive PO-SANG and she will go back to USA soon. SUM-YUE goes to the clinic to look for LAI-WING and returns the crystal apple to him. She persuades LAI-WING to pursue HEI-MAN once again... LAI-WING rushes to the hospital but HEI-MAN has left already. WING-SHAN reveals to LAI-WING that HEI-MAN has gone to the airport... SUM-YUE discovers that PO-PO is missing PO-SANG and she asks her to think twice. However, PO-PO insists to go to Taiwan with FUNG-NI to broaden her horizon. MOON-KEI invites LAI-WING and PO-SANG to the beach for BBQ. The two of them reconcile with each other. Uncle KAT has recovered and he agrees to rent the place to SING-MUI again. Sing Mui Kee restaurant is opened once again. After studying and working hard for many years, MOON-KEI finally becomes the Postmaster of Cheung Chau Post Office.… ...
