The story takes place in Uzbekistan. A girl is traveling to visit her grandfather. The train stops at a small, remote station surrounded by sand dunes. There, at the station, a little white, lonely camel calf is wandering around. He meets the girl and offers to guide her straight through the dunes to her grandfather’s house, which he knows. Along the way, the new friends meet other desert dwellers.

Rare, medium rare, medium, medium well and well done. Through intimate and personal stories, five women share their experiences in relation to the body, from childhood to old age.

Set during the Meiji reformation era in a small village in Kyushu, Japan. The story revolves around a young boy named Izana and a blind woman named Takiri, the two encounter the large monster Nebula who since ancient times was feared as the god of lake Amenosagiri. Theme of the film focuses on the Japanese concept of light and darkness, as told by puppetry and model miniaturization of the films’ world with practical special effects by Keizo Murase.

Dave the dog sells Farmer Alfalfa the back of a whale as an island. Farmer Alfalfa has a great deal of trouble keeping his land in one spot, while the farm animals and pests add to his woes.

On a cold morning, a curious kitten and a venturous puppy decide to embark on a furious sled experience. The puppy takes the lead, while the cat follows along. The adventure, however, brings some unfreezing surprises.

When class bully Irwin taunts Violet about her fat knees (they're not) or deadly sewer gas smell (she doesn't), all she wants to do is shrink away. But when she's alone or with her best friend, Opal, Violet is a master performer, mimicking her classmates and retaliating against Irwin with razor-sharp wit. Her chance for real-life revenge comes at last during the play, when she plays the offstage role of Lady Space. On opening night, when Irwin, a.k.a. Mars, starts to spin out of control and forgets his lines, Violet saves the day (but not without a little of her savage humor).

Gerald, the giraffe, wants nothing more than to dance. With crooked knees and thin legs, it's harder for a giraffe to dance than the other animals. Gerald is finally able to dance to his own tune when he gets some encouraging words from an unlikely friend.
