Dave the dog sells Farmer Alfalfa the back of a whale as an island. Farmer Alfalfa has a great deal of trouble keeping his land in one spot, while the farm animals and pests add to his woes.

Mr Munnings is printing some posters advertising the Fire Brigade band's forthcoming concert. Captain Flack tells his men to put the posters up around town but where can they put them? Nick Fisher the bill poster helps them out.

The story takes place in Uzbekistan. A girl is traveling to visit her grandfather. The train stops at a small, remote station surrounded by sand dunes. There, at the station, a little white, lonely camel calf is wandering around. He meets the girl and offers to guide her straight through the dunes to her grandfather’s house, which he knows. Along the way, the new friends meet other desert dwellers.

This short begins with the star canine and his owner Penny in peril from "The Man with the Green Eye", trapped within his fortress protected by overwhelming defenses, tied up and suspended high above a bottomless pit that's surrounded by fire. So Penny's father transforms Rhino into a super hamster to save the day.

One of the first animated short films. A wanderer enters a cabaret in the countryside and asks a waitress for a beer. She comes back with a pint, as the wanderer begins to court her. However, the kitchen boy comes, drinks the beer and vanishes. The wanderer, misunderstanding, asks for another beer. Then a traveler enters and has an argument with the wandered. During the argument, the kitchen boy appears, sips the second beer and runs away. As the traveler quits, the customer finds his glass empty again. He calls the waitress, expresses his disappointment and leaves. The kitchen boy comes in and explains to the waitress what he did with the two beers. They make fun together of the wanderer and leave.
